Just picking up on something you said earlier, I never really got into Green Wing first time round. I was in my final year of uni and spent most Friday nights with my head in the toilet after a few too many Tequila Slammers!! Plus my housemates at the time hated it so when I did happen to be in for the three or four episodes I managed, they yacked over the top so I missed about 75% of the jokes!! It wasn't until the S1 repeats early last year that I became the sad, delusional wreck that you see before you today!

My parents went out one saturday night leaving me and my sis at home, and there was nothing else on tv! I used to think it was toooo weird and never bothered or really knew about it, but after 10 mins of s.2 ep.5 (PROPER KISS!) i was hooked. missed the first showing got into it on the repeats before 2nd series came out my x got me into it about the only decent thing he did. never finished putting the guttering up. bought 1st series dvd followed by anything with jrt in it. a friend has now pointed out the x was a darker haired version of jrt . Maybe i should call him about the guttering and put a strawberry blonde wig on him

just realised i've got a star no idea what that means but at least I don't feel like the new girl

yeah i managed to catch series 1 reruns just be series 2! i just stumbled upon it one night, luckily the first ep! saw sue and fell in love!

my friends got me the dvd for my bday when it came out!

it feels like this is the end of an era! i wonder if it will be remembered in those best of programs and we'll be able to tell our kids that we met them

Hey Hols, Becca, ML, C&B, Herby an everyone! I haven't been on this thread for a while so i thought id fill u in. Well because im majorly stressing about exams ive become a totally bitch and snappy so i do apologize to anyone i've offended, I feel horrible because i've got the startings of a chest infection and life in general sux. All this revising means i've neglecting my Sm bumping and green wing watching, the only thing which is keeping me sane is you lovely people and the promise that on wednesday i shall be freed from the shackles of revising which bind me to my desk. I haven't seen my bf properly in a while and he told me HE DOESN'T THINK GREEN WING IS FUNNY!!! so naturally am having doubts about the relationship annnnnnd im being moved departments at work so il now be on the beauty counter!

And in answer to a very good question I was introduced to Green Wing by my friend cabbage patch doll and was hooked after watching the sci fi intro to s2. Only the sophisticated get the sarcastic and ironic humour though - or so i keep telling myself...

I had another icky day at school today. We were reading through Much ado in English and i wasn't chosen to read, and so i listened to all these girls getting to read the bits i love best in the play- and i coul djust hear Tamsin saying the beatrice part, and i couldn't read it! it wa horrid They all hate reading Shakespeare anyways, so i wish i'd realised we were volunteering to read, and had shot my hand up When everyone was laughing at this girl who read Benedick (it's an all-girls school), i kept thinking how much better i could read it!

hey im on a break from revision - what did i miss?

that i havent left to go do any revision yet! (i did some physics befor ebut got bored) anyone doing general studies actually revising for it?

i have Science GCSE modules in March we're doing the new syllabus and it's scary. I did get 100% in my little Chemistry test, though it was a major achievement as i have a completeley non science-friendly mind. English and Drama and that comes naturally to me.

ALSO!! I forgot to tell you all! On the 7th Of February i'm going to New York on a school Music choir tour! We're singing in this school called 'spence', or something, and the biggest church in NT etc etc...I'm soooooooooo excited but at the same time i'm dreading the flight. Plus there's a bit of friction with my friends about who shares rooms with who, so i don't want to go all that way to be unhappy and all alone
