wahoo! UCAS! what a dull thing that is! it never aaccepts my password although it is correct! i checked it today and i have two offers both from the UEA but for different courses. BBC they want, haha i say to them!

The only good thing i think of with UCAS is the Topshop discount card you get with the student card thingy. i want one lol!

UEA was my top choice. but i got an unsuccessful from southampton! and that was my second choice! poop!!

dont worry baroline, st andrews was thelast to tell me and everyone i know here, and i still got an unconditional! but you may not get them in england. ok,so just back from my exam, it went ok i hope, just a couple of hours off, then back to revising for english on monday - no rest for the wicked!

i have housing issues! like me n my housemate were gonna live with 3 other people - 1 of whom i knew quite well, n the other 2 people she lives with. but now my housemate *whos my closest friend* doesnt wanna live with them. so i have no idea what to do as all other 'friends' have sorted it out.

i dunno why peopel dont like me lol, it takes a long time to get the real me so not that many people have got to that stage yet.

housing issues at uni can be such a stress!
esp once you've moved in and start fighting over spoons, and cupboard shelves! sheesh

my mate lives in sheff and is doing some enginering (sp) course. she had housing problems too. but that was with dirty mags left behind, mould, and an unwanted house resident!!

I guess i'm trying to say that you'll find friends in the end, Mel! Everyone has someone/people who belong to them out there somewhere- keep searching and you'll belong to them someday too!

thanks guys. i just feel like ive not met anyone as special as my friends from home. im a complicated creature to be honest thats probably why but ugh! i just wish i belonged hmmm oh well! i just dont wanna be unhappy next year.

i really miss my mates from school. and i felt like i never made as close friends again. and to make things worse i don't even feel that close to my school friends either anymore....cus they're all busy with their new friends/uni/relationships etc.

i do not speak from experience here, but i was having a conversation about new friends at uni with my mum today. and she said that its very common for people to be a bit down in the first year because its not living up to their expectations in terms of a social life and that it does get better

i don't want to go to uni now. it sound cr@p!

Congrats! What did you apply to study, I am from Norwich, the UEA have great bands playing there all the time and the city is fantastic..not that I'm biased or anything
