oooh, becca, NYC is one of my favorites, can't get enough of it, am green with envy. If you get a chance, go to Serendipty 3 (on north side of 60th st. between 2nd & 3rd ave near bloomingdales) and get some frozen hot chocolate. Very yummy. If the wait is too long to get in, just buy the packets and take it home - one packet can serve at least 2 if not 3 and people will thank you!

Gosh! dont worry about it, the securitys really tight there. Oh its exactly the same here! I've seen one of my flatmates but i have no idea where the rest of them have got to. So im sitting alone in my room while i can hear a whole bunch of noisy people outside. But hey not all is bad i have half a bottle of vodka lol |

i just feel alone, its a friday night, i should be out, but because of hockey tomorrow i cant go out late or drink , and my friends are going to the cinema tomorrow when i am at hcokey so dont want to go tonight, and we are all going to a party tomorrow night, so dont want to spend much money and my best friend's boyfriend has come back from uni so she ditched me this morning! sister to mentalbint daughter to ulifas the friendly What a lot of things I know. at least youve got plans! i just hate it, its like no-one gets me at all. but then i suppose i make it worse cos i like time to myself, but thats only because i cant stand people at uni. i live with 4 people. two of them are foreign so we dont often talk much due to the language barrier, and the other one is probably my only friend at uni. but everyone else is just trying too hard and theyre just not my kinda people. grr! i wish you guys were at uni, you get me!!!! i came home to see my family and theyre all out ! aaaaaaaaargh i hate feeling like this! you know what im gonna make this a long post! do any of you know what you wanna do with your lives?! i feel so minute and pathetic sometimes. ive achieved absolutely nothing in my life, and i dont reckon i ever will. i have so many passions but they never seem to get me anywhere. i work my a*rse off, about 5 times as hard as some people, and always seem to get the same results. i want people to be proud of me and i want to achieve things! im so inexperienced grrrrrr i hate being so naive and young! ok rant over. sorry for bringing the mood down ________________________ "You can either do it my way, or you can be wrong" SUE WHITE = GOD Cousin to Heeby and Crossy Daughter of JOHNOR Creator of GLUE! #3 Razzer |

i know what you mean, this week i want to be a dentis but it changes between engineer dentist or cotor, but over christmas i spent the whole time revising organice chemistry then spent the weekend before the text revising it, then spent the night before the text doing solid revision and still only got a D! it was soo annoying and everyone was saying, oh you'll wokr harder for the actual thing - but i wont cos that was solid revision! sister to mentalbint daughter to ulifas the friendly What a lot of things I know. I'm exactly the same, it sucks! It's like once I revised for a whole month for this Biology test and all my friends started the week before. They all got A's and I got an E! Grr! I dont really know what i wanna do. There's lots of things i'd like to but only cos they seem fun but i have no idea! Here is my list!: musician, working with animals (no idea what exactly), actor or chef..... Mel - I was like that a *few* years ago - smart (if I say so myself) but no clue what to do. Trying to decide and pick the perfect life plan was overwhelming. Well, I was able to put it off for a while, but then I was taking to someone about this and they had an epiphany in their own life that I've adopted. Some people have several paths in their life that they'll take and follow until they realize they are ready for something else. I don't mean the indecisive, changing you mind-every-couple-of-months stuff. Going with one of the things you're interested in, even if it does't seem huge or life defining, and then remain open to other things that involve your other passion, which you will not drop. Most incredible people do lots of different incredible things. Have faith. Thought I'd throw in an equally long post since this plague me for a good number of years. Good Luck

Its exactly the same here for me I have 4 other flatmates. One is foreign, one seems to have made his own friends and the other two go out but they never invite me out with them and i'd feel way too pathetic to invite myself. I'm freaking out because everyone's sorting out houses for next year and i have no one to live with. And i've wanted what i've wanted to do as a career since i was about 14 but since i've started uni i've started doubting myself if i actually want this as a career |

Aww thank you so much! I feel so welcome here! I dunno if this is gonna come out wrong but I think I'm capable of something, I dunno what, I just know. Like i know one day I'll realise that what i'm doing is what i've always wanted if that makes sense. I did work experience a while back at the guide dogs for the blind and it was honestly one of the best weeks of my life. It was such hard work everyday, but i came home with such a sense of achievement it was amazing. Yeah he's a singer/songwriter, quite big over here. MacsLover - same with me. I keep thinking i wanna live with people that i know really well, trouble is i hardly have any of those people!
