don't they do British history anymore (i sound old now don't I) I did the industrial/agricultural revolution, Herny the 8th (divorced beheaded died divorced beheaded survived- what happen to his wives) Elizabeth 1 and WW1 &2 and of course the suffragettes. you do british history until yr 10 when gcse's start, then depends which course wou take, i took short course on aqa i think, so was germany and south africa

i covered the suffrogettes in history, at times seeing the ignorance of some of our male leaders i tend to agree with you!
