I'm with Snotrag on the baby thing. It's not that I dislike them, my friend's new baby is lovely and she has every right to be proud of him, I just think he is better off kept away from the big clumsy person he will later come to know as Aunty Sue. When he is older and can talk and stuff I may be able to cope with him and give him a book and tell him to shut up but as a baby he might start crying and puking and snotting on me and that is far less adorable when you are not his parent!

Haha! Yes, that statement is thick with irony! Wink

I suppose you could argue that a dog is also for life and not just for Christmas, therefore signifying the sort of commitment I am so fearful of; however I would argue that at least with a dog you can leave it in the house for a few hours at a time and ‘doggy maintenance’ is somewhat easier in comparison. I don't know Snotty , you don't have to take a baby outside when they need to pee!

You do indeed. Poop-a-scooping is much easier, trust me! Thumbs Up

And dogs don’t drain the bank account dry (well not unless you’re in need of a good vet - for the dog; not you - then its daylight robbery!)… Shake Head

Thinking of Boyce, did anyone see Rapunzel last week where he played Vuk the Slovakian tennis pro? The programme was more miss than hit but I did love the bit where he needed two larger than average test pots for his urine! Big Grin

I guess it’s one of those, “had to be there” moments that gets lost in translation… Blush
