the whole caromac and caroguy is just a bet between the both of them to see who can score caroline and she finds out and marries martin instead hahaha

i did think that it might be th ereason guy proposed etc, but it's not really the thing that mac would do, is it? and it wouldn't explain why he keeps blowing hot and cold onher. if it was a bet, he would have proposed, and never done the whole going to kiss her but then not thing in s1

As much as I think sweet little Martin deserves some happiness – after all he has an “angry p*nis” – I’m not convinced. I wouldn’t put it past Guy to be trying to get one over on Mac by marrying Caroline (although cutting him some slack he probably thinks he’s in love with her coz she makes his “balls ache” and he’s “waking up in the night”…) but I certainly don’t think Mac would be so cruel… Anyway did you not see Mac in EP8 when he was trying to ask Caroline to move in with him?? He was completely tongue-tied – the forum seems divided on this but I think EP8 just proved to me that Mac is way out of his depth and completely besotted!!

I soooo hope it’s a happy CaroMac ending (but I also want Guy to be happy – and still a b*stard too – coz that’s how I like him!!)

i so agree that mac was out of his depth. why does everyone think that he was just leading her on?

I don’t know but it really bugs me… It’s soooo obvious that he loves Caroline. He’s no longer cool, collected Mac around her and I think that says it all!! I think everyone should cut him some slack, poor sweetheart! He loves her and he deserves to be happy… SO THERE!

I think that if Guy isnt Mackenzie's father then he's only chasing Caroline to say he got there before Mac. They always have some sort of competative thing going on, I do believe Guy loves Caroline and vice versa but they arent In Love with each other.

Exactly. Which is why I personally am all for the Guy/Sue pairing Guy loses Caroline, Sue loses Mac - it makes perfect sense! (and great potential viewing lol)

i dont think mac would make a bet like that i hope he wouldnt. but i do believe it is a competetive thing for guy. he did say in the first series he wont let anyone get there before him. i think once he has slept with her the novitey will were off

Do you not think Mac might find it hard to get over the fact Guy and Caroline have slept together? I'm thinking no hoping that Caroline will make Guy wait until their wedding day so he can prove he is now a one woman man, but circumstances will arise that means that she will soon be sharing a bed with Mac.
