I'm pretty sure Mac said Caroline was the biggest freak in the hospital (not the ugliest). Caroline heard this and was really upset. But Mac does redeem himself later, but Caroline was not around to hear this bit.
Anyway, you know what they say about men with big ears....big hair! Why...what did you think I was going to say...

He called her a googly-eyed Neanderthal, I'm finding it difficult to forgive him for that - esp since in the next episode where Guy tells him he used to call her a sarcastic witch, he says that he'd never say that about anyone.

i would find it hard to forgive him, but i was shouting at the tv to get caro to come back in and here the rest! my favourite mac/caro moment was with the car - very funny and loveable!

i love these bits: the car, him saying "i need my arm back" but clearly wants to stay with her..., the party kiss, the re-enactment, the first real kiss, the my gaff. seris two has been goooooood so far and i loved the whole him telling her to ignore the slate clean ness - he loves her so much and hes begining to remember bless, and the way she walked back towards him and they just smile at each other.i loved the lift bit but the best from seris two was the him jumping after the i love you and her twirling round - BLESS. one of the best also though was the tiny nothingy bit in seris one where he gets those random glasses and he says to her "ooh doctor todd you look beautiful with your glasses on" ust the way he says beautiful - he soooo loves her!

if we liken this to a horse race, caroline after a good start did tier, whoever she has picked up pace again, where as my girl sue has lethargicly strolled out the stalls .. had aweee canter n knocked joanne to one side & now is in full stide coming round from the back to overtake caroline who just didnt have the pace & take her man/1st prize !!! ....... n how do i know ? cuz iv just been talking to her on myspace ! lol ---------------------------------------------- oh my golly ... oooh my golly ...

you're so right - its all the little bits you don't spot first time - and i love the bit with "see ya smelly four eyes!" and the bit where caro asks mac to look at her chest x ray - thats the first bit where you start to see them together. and at the party when caro runs off after guy - the look on macs face

I am surprised no-one has brought this up already but Mac was not a happy bunny when he learnt that Guy and Caroline where off together. Then goes to Sue White's office and asks that they both don't have the same days off work. First signs of attraction perhaps? Or protecting Caroline from Guy?
I think its a sign of both. Because its after the party so Mac obviously likes her but also wants to protect her from Guy because he knows what hes friends like. It was cute how he didn't want to be without the 'arrogant knobhead' either. lol.
Fav moment has got to be just before the "sicky mouth" kiss... when Mac is stroking Caroline's hair and being so caring and gentle and Caroline is loving it... that moment has provided daydreams a plenty
