V festival for me, but im dead jealous of you, the line up for reading is about 50 000000 times better! damn me for being so sensible and picking convinence over line up when the tickets first came out! But its the day after my a-level exam results! yay. can either forget or celebrate them!
I first saw then in Hyde Park 11 year ago when I was about your age. They had lots of guests (including Alannis Morrisette, Jools Holland, Eric Clapton) and all the people interviewed on telly were saying "oh yeah, well I don't like them I only came to see...." which really irritated me - why didn't they ask e of one of the many thousands of Who fans there......
don't worry! I could have seen them and David Bowie and Brian Adams a few years ago at IOW but Mum wouldn't pay for me to go and I had no money! Which kinda sucked coz they were apparently amazing! But she's taking us to this concert to make up for it...lol!
yep they were brill at the Isle of Wight 2 years ago i know cos i went but i was really there for Bowie tho. but Brian Adams wasnt there. but Bowie is the best person ive ever seen live absolutely amazing!! im off to the Isle of Wight tomorrow for festival this year, did actually fancy T in the Park but that sold out really quick but i like Isle of Wight very CHILLED alot more so than Glasto but i like glasto even tho its soooooooo big... but yeah any hoo off to Isle of Wight so will have the fun of catching up with you lot in four days ahhhhhh tooooo many posts!!!!! ho hum

WOW...you are officialy a legend!!! Glasto is amazing! The atmosphere at the Bestival is much more like Glasto than the IOW festival is! Can't wait till friday will be so much fun!
And I hope you have booked a ferry...You'll be hard pushed to get over here if you haven't! Friday is totaly booked up...although, tomorow may not be too bad!
I'm going to the o2 festival in Leeds to see The Who yay! I'm not bothered about any of the other bands but I'll check them out. I wish I could have seen the full band but alas I am only 19. They are still fantastic even with only half of the band members though, did anyone watch them at Live 8?

yup got ferry ticket when i got the weekend camping gonna be fab just having fun trying to take as little as poss even tho im driving but still. im getting ferry at 11am tomorrow which is gonna be fun as i have to get round the M25 at rush hour poo oh well. so i gather your going to the isle of wight this time round then, sorry being very slow. as im packing and chatting on this at the same time?

oh that will be poo but it felt like miles away the first year i went, great way to loose weight and dye of heat exhaustion lol who you looking forward to see~??? I've seen coldplay before so may go and play on the feriswheel if they have one this year so half way up in the air and see them better than anyone else he he he. gah your missing out on the fun of camping lol
lol...looking forward to seeing Foo Fighters and The Proclaimers most then Coldplay! I will spend alot of time shopping since I buy most of my clothes from festivals! They have the huge catapult ride there again this year as well as another big one...but they are always so expensive, I never bother with them! I'd love to camp but with 12 of us, and ferries for them and school and work...just gets too hard to organize!
yup im look9ing forward to shopping, im seeing foo fighters twice it was by accident im seeing them this sat of course then next sat at hyde park. but suzanne vega is great this will be the third time ive seen her before seeing bowie her gig was the best one id ever been to. im looking forward to placebo, and the proclamers should be cool, im just hoping they dont decide to play a football match between sets cos they did that for bowie not fun when id managed somehow toget to the front ish and then they put the football on and he wanted to watch it, could atleast show the british Grande Prix lol
lol...they prob won't show the football...after all, Medina theatre is charging £10 a ticket to go watch it in the cinema type thing they have there!
I've seen Faithless twice now and R.E.M just from vaious festivals/gigs...both are great bands! I've always wanted to see Foo Fighters but they never do any gigs closer than London which is a pain...hopefuly we'll get RHCP next year! That would be amazing!!!

lol...things on sticks are cool...or you could always do what we did first time at Glasto and attack your tent with fabric paint...always makes it *ahem* stand out!

cool! Always good fun! I think we have a stick, well, mum brought one the other day anyway...no idea what we are putting on it...whatever it is, it means we'll be able to find each other...why else would you need a stick!
