I thought the first episode of the new series was quite rocky and wasn't up to the usual high standard, but Friday's second installment was a return to form and wouldn't have felt out of place in the first series. I think GW2 is still great, especially considering the near impossible expectations we all had for it, and I've found the majority of it very funny. However, it is too early to compare a mere 2 episodes to the first series, but so far I'm really enjoying the new series.
BTW, Green Wing managed to sustain the 1.8 million viewers it had last week again on Friday - so at least the viewing figures haven't dropped.
"Ugh! so what yoou're looking for is an unpredictable, but passionate, slightly masculine Kinks fan..with eyes." "I know. It's an impossible dream." Must get Kinks CD!!!!!
^^lol that really made me laugh! i was trying to say that now that we know that character we can focus more on storyliens and the cators seem more comfortable in taking a scene a certain way and in doing what they know is fitting for their character. that's what i was going to say.
And In The End The Love You Take Is Equal To The Love You Make
- Remember that, the Beatles were all about love, it's all you need. Peace and love everyone!
Thought episode 3 was well up to standard - in fact arguably the funniest episode so far (including series 1) - the timing of the jet-ski coming round the corner with the panicking duck in front of it, the swan, Sue and Joanna and the teeth, Joanna winching so that Sue could fly, Martin in the toilets, Joanna's right jab to Alan, the film crew trying not to corpse at Alan's bird impressions, Guy in the operating theatre, Caroline's competitive relationship with Angela, Mac and Guy's competitive relationship (maybe Guy should have ended up with Angela, they both adore themselves) and more. Just brilliant.
"I know I'm not wearing much makeup, but thats quite rude"
if you lke gw then you should take it as a whole, sure there might be a few duds but so what, love it for what it is. I also carnt understand people sayin their glad sarah alexaders gone n that she was a waste of time n didnt work with the others ... course she did ... or she wouldnt of been in it from the start, she was a member of a cast that made gw into a comedy that were all chatting about n enjoying,to loose an original cast member for what ever reason is a huge loss -------------------------------------------- how to click with women ... all ready can clickerty click click click
I think most people just don't like the character Angela, they have nothing against the actress.
And is it just me that when Alan pulled his trousers down and fell over Kim to try and make Joanna jealous. Is it just me that wanted Kim to brag about being with Boyce because that would of really wound Alan up! lol!
Guy said it was something along the lines of; the tide was in, they fell off, Guy got out and managed to swim to shore along with Martin, but while Mac was trying to save them he smacked his head off a world war two mine.
Possibly a fabrication, but I bet in time we'll find out what exactly happened.
