I know wasn't it great? Although it took me about ten minutes of watching before I realised!

JRT and the Stone Roses two of my favourite things. Worth staying in on a Saturday night for I tell you.

I might write a letter to Points of View and say 'I am not sure who that charming young man was but we really must hear more of his voiceover work on the BBC. Top notch. ours faithfully Miss Higgington-Foxbotham'

On no! I missed it. I didn't know JRT was going to be the narrator on this programme. When I saw it in the TV guide, I though, 'ooh, that looks interesting, I must watch that', but didn't.......doh! I have set up a reminder with TV Genius in case it repeated on BBC again

They never say in advance who the narrators are, except maybe Radio Times does? I think with the amount of voiceover and radio work that JRT and SM seem to be doing I might start buying it and reading it from cover to cover!

What's TV Genius? That sounds pretty cool too.

Hey heatherbee. It's www dot tvgenius dot co uk

It's a great little site. You can search for what you want to watch and it will tell when it is on and dates of any repeats. You can set up a reminder so it will email you on the morning a particular show is showing. For example, I set up a reminder for "Imagine" as it seems to be on again, hopefully, they will show the one with the GW clips again. Or has already been repeated?

gw_pickles, thanks for that it looks a great site.

BUT possible news? I typed 'Green Wing' in there, and got this message:

Green Wing
This show is not showing on any UK TV channels before Tuesday 27th June, but the TV Genius will know when this shows next comes on TV. Remind Me!
Last shown on Monday 22nd May on More4

Does this mean it will be repeated at the end of the month?????

Digiguide is also extremely good, it's a little program that does everything, colour code by actor, downloads listings, e-mails, lists your favourite tv shows and all sorts of fancy stuff.

It costs about £5 a year and it's the best program on my computer by far...

Hi heatherbee. I think they only have the schedules up until the 27th June. At least if we sign up for a reminder, we will know when the repeats will be...or even the last episode!

I don't advise a haircut, man. All hairdressers are in the employment of the government. Hairs are your aerials. They pick up signals from the cosmos, and transmit them directly into the brain. This is the reason bald-headed men are uptight.

I know what you mean about the music...I had to dust down the tunes and have a bit of a time-warp back to that period in time - Voodoo Ray, Soul 2 Soul, Stone Roses, Blur (before they went mainstream, Shamen (as Blur) etc etc - 1989 and 1990 were great years for music...those were the heady days of A-levels/drinking dodgy cider blah blah...

Dress sense was soooo bad though, at least I can hold my hand up and say I never bought or wore a pair of dungarees out clubbing - or anywhere else for that matter!!!.. Cool

Heh heh, I remember seeing Blur play in Bristol in 1990 or 1991, supported by the Moonflowers, at least one of whom was completely naked. Happy days.

I don't remember the clothes being too bad, though, in fact I've been trying to track down the two pairs of Converse boots that I used to wear in those days...I'm sure there's still some wear in them if I can find them!

Dodgy cider definitely rings a bell, though!

Sorry, this is well off-topic.
