I'm reliably informed there was at one time meant to be a scene of Guy skiing naked in the Alps, but that never made it in.

Oh, I'm a veritable mine of information about scenes that 'never made it in'. Like Guy living wild in the woods near the hospital, for example. And the office girls introducing Harriet to various types of narcotics by replicating their effects using office furniture and equipment (which I personally would very much have liked to see).

Oh, but wouldn't it be wonderful to see those scenes given their moment of glory on the DVD!

Yeah hopefully they'll have more extra features on the S2 DVD - also there must be some really funny outtakes they can put on there too! I wonder what the average number of times they need to repeat a scene is...??

That's what always amazes me about Ollie Chris - he's so cool and calm around Mark Heap! He seems totally unphased by all the madness. I wonder how long it took him to get that good or do you think he's just naturally good at corpsing?

It would indeed, Talespinner, but I don't think some of them even got as far as being filmed.

In my mind there's a whole 'alternative' GW consisting entirely of scenes that never made it in - like that Cornelia Parker artwork that's made of the discarded shavings off bits of gold and silver they used to make medals.

dont you think its funny that in series 2 statham is the only one who seems to be getting any? its actually kinda ironic. even martin at the beginning is sick of having sex, and yet mac and guy, the men who are actually attractive, are practically celibate for the whole series.

knowing TG (not literally. *sigh*), probably quite a few takes were needed for her scenes!

I like that though I find it quite endearing when I watch BB and GW to see the amount of times shes obviously trying not to laugh. It makes her more real (ie not perfect)

I think it's good that there's no nudity in GW as there's too much nudity on TV these days (I sound like a right prude! lol). Tho the scenes that do show flesh are commical i.e. Statham in his Y fronts, socks and shoes playing the recorder, ha ha! Mac's bum was goooood tho!

I think nudity in programmes has to be justified by the content of it, otherwise it just appears unnecessary. In general, I don't think there's a lot of nudity in comedies anyway; GW's probably one of the more 'nudey' British comedies.
