wasn't it just?! i love the way he mac laughs a ltitle when he says it almost as if he's aying "of course i love you!" i have rewound that scene so many times! he is just so sweet! that was a lovely scene!

It really was lovely, how he was kinda taken aback but so obviously meant it!

Its like in the first series when Caroline is angry at Mac, Guy & Martin and gives them scores out of 10 and 1 of them says you can't repress your feelings that quickly.

So Mac said it as a sort of reflect that he couldn't repress!

Yeah it has to be one of my fave Mac and Caroline scenes! Even the awkward silence afterwards was great! Awwwww

I'm personally choosing to interpret the way Mac jumps over the chair and then puts both his arms up to touch the door frame after they've said it as a kind of victory-esque 'Yes! She loves me too!' type thing. Although I know he does that kind of thing all the time anyway (see series 1 touching the sign etc.)

The first time I saw it, I was eating. I spat out my food and almost choked on the food,but also the tenderness of the scene. It was obvious they had the hots for eachother, it is a mystery why they didn't.

Definitely one of the best Caro/Mac scenes. Could have been so over-played as well, which would have ruined it.

It has, every time, given me that warm and fuzzy feeling. I also think it's lovely how Mac does his little victory leap then has to go straight to the restroom to collect himself.

That whole last bit from the Love You til the end is GENIUS.

No way! I've had enough of waiting we did that all the way through series 1 they should just get together now!

Doesn't anyone think Episode 3/4 is a bit early? Ep 5 last series was their first kiss, and between then and ep 9 Mac got a girlfriend and all that.

If everything's all hunky dory too soon it could lead to disaster...
