ok well ive just been doing my usual scan on play.com (im not a geek) and i found that greenwing series one and two box set is going to be coming out on the same day as series 2. heres the link:
no picture as yet but £35.99 thts the same price as the series on their own. and no doubt itll come in a snazzy box. god i am a geek. just thought u might like to know about it

That's cool but does it mean they're def not making another series then as i think they'd wait and bring them out all together in a box set if there was gonna be another series
depends how much cash I have at the time me thinks. If I have enough - I'll buy the boxset and sell my series 1 DVD given that the series 1 in the boxset is less likely to have those skippy bits in episodes 5 & 7!
Shame though - because it does kind of signify a kind of finality about GW - bringing out a boxset of both series together *sob*

I just saw this too, will it simply be the standard series 1 and 2 dvds in a nice box - not any special extras? As i already have series 1 i don't really want it twice so i will just buy the standard series 2 i think.
Presumably the special episode will still be coming out separately so it isn't really a complete box set is it or am i missing something??
Doh! How irritating is that?!? The majority of fans will already have the first series so it’s kind of annoying that they’re going to bring out a box set… Why do people always do that? It’s the same with CD albums when they release an album and then release it again with like 2 extra “bonus tracks” on it!!
the special episode is in fact the first episode of series 3 and is so going to come out as part of that box set.
ok, that is just my wishful thinking, but we can hope can't we?
