Guy and Caroline for me. I want Mac and her to go out in the series and for Guy to be eaten up with jealousy(perhaps assuming they have slept together when the havent). So much so that he decides to leave rather than watching the love birds together.
I think Caroline waking up to the fact that she does love Guy would be more dramatic and in keeping with a wonderfully unpredictable series.

You are quite right, mangansgirl. However, despite all the very rude surrealism etc, I suspect there is one very squishy beating heart inside Victoria Pile and she knows it just wouldn't be as satisfying any other way. Besides, their noses match - and their scruffy hair. I think Guy and Sue belong together. And Alan and Karen, and Martin and Rachel for some reason. And of course the alpha couple, Boyce and Kim. Joanna, I fear, may end up alone, unless the neurosurgeon comes good. Or Charles, the Chief Exec. Or Dr Mancoo. |

ah true! and like when he was there when she was weighing them. he's always there when she's doing something with her breasts - she used them to get his attention in the first ep of this series - all very subtle. and clearly when she refused him in an early ep, it was a cover-up of her true feelings. yes! martin and karen all the way.
