I'm a massive GW fan from NZ, and absolutely loved series 1. I'm eagerly awaiting series 2, but really want to know if it's going to be worth the wait!! I don't want to read any of these forums, in case I spoil it for myself, so maybe someone could give me a yes or a no, just to keep me going in the meantime!!!!!!
if u look on the www dot channel 4 dot com (this forum doesnt let u post proper web addresses) website and search green wing the mini site will come up and it has little bits of episode plot on there -- not enough to spoil it just to give a little idea... but yes series 2 is really good!

yes it is well worth it there is lots of up a downs. and things you couldnt posible exspect it keeps you guessing all the way thought and wanting more and more. i never stoped laughting if you like the first you will love the second.
missapril_nz I'm so sorry that you haven't been able to join us on the magical ride that is GW Series 2. 'worth watching' doesn't even begin to describe it. I can happily say (hand on heart) that the eagerly awaited second series lived up to expectation (and they were high expectations!). Fingers crossed that you don't have to wait too long for it. When it comes around, close the curtains, and unplug the phone - you want no interuptions. Quite jealous of you actually, it would be really lovely to be back there waiting for it all to happen again! Sit back and ENJOY!

Thank you everyone!! I have someone who recorded it over there and is sending it to me, so should be arriving any time within the next few days. Was in another forum and read some guy rubbishing it, so it made me nervous!!! But now that I have the official word from fellow fans, I'm reassured, and I can't wait to see it!!!!! Looking forward to coming on here to discuss it further once I've watched them all. Can see myself sitting up all night and getting through the entire series!!
There's a good write up and summary of series two here. I think either an American or Canadian wrote this hence the use of "mommy" and "season" i.e. as in series. So, maybe they do get the humour after all?
Don't even think about missing it!!!!! In my opinion it's better than series 1. If you like Stephen Mangan (especially) this series will knock your socks off
Tissues?? I hope they're for tears of laughter?? If anything happens to Guy or Mac I'll be distraught!!! I think I need to keep away from this forum for now. The temptation to peek at what's going on is almost too much for me to bear!!!!

Originally posted by missapril_nz: Thanks, I won't!! Check back here in a week and I should've watched it by then and we can talk about it then!!
p.s: Very nervous seeing one of the topics in here entitled 'funeral'!
Don't be. It's well documented that there's a funeral at some point. We just didn't see it in the first 8 episodes. It looks like it'll be part of the Chrimbo special. Have no fear, those lovely writers wont let us down!

I've watched them all!!! It absolutely pains me to say this, and please try to make me snap out of it, but I don't think it was as mad funny as series 1. I feel so disloyal. I still loved it, but there weren't nearly as many quirky things in it as there were in series 1. I'm going to watch them all over again and see if it was just my mood over the weekend that affected my opinion!!!
I know! What was I thinking?! I've watched series 1 soooo many times and I'm sure I'll watch series 2 over and over again too!! Now we'll have to suffer the loooooooong wait for series 3 and episode 9!
