Argh! Frustrated me! I so thought for a second there that it would end with Mac & Caroline in the pub. & because i want this couple to be together so badly it took a lot of the comedy out for me, it was more drama. As the people i normally find funny, Guy & Sue were ruining Mac & Carolines relationship. The look on her face when Mac told her they should wipe the slate clean. Obviously thats all cleared up now but they're still not properly together. Only moments i properly found funny were Boyce and the office girls!
My dog was entranced by the 'ducking when the phone rings' bit in the office. She loved that, couldn't keep her eyes off it. She was taking it very seriously though.

have you tried getting your phone to ring to see if she's taken it on board?

That's a really good idea, I'll have to try that. When the phone rings normally she looks round at people to answer it. Which is quite good because it means you don't miss a phonecall. But only if you happen to be looking at her so you're probably better off just using your ears.

Great episode tonight, plus I loved the sue/Joanna power stuggles and Sue generally just gets funnier every episode. The Mac and Caroline thing is killing me as well though, especially the 'I love you' bit, was so sad!
But it was "A haaaand baaag!" that Sue was saying! Ie the quote from The Importance of Being Earnest, ala Judi Dench (in the most recent film version anyway). Or at least that's what I thought.
The whole episode was brilliant!
But good grief, Mac and Caroline. Several moments there when I was sitting shouting at the tv. Aagh! I felt so sorry for her. We're never going to know until the very end, are we? Good old Boyce though.
Another great episode! My favourite bit had to be Sue White saying: "Do I look like a mug? Do I have a handle and am I ceramic and found on a top shelf or in a little wooden box? Would you like to put your lips on my rim?.....That question you can answer, the others were all rhetorical..." or something like that! hehe. Genius!!!
"YOU BLOODY WOLF!!! I was pretending! I knew she wasn't a wolf! So it is YOU who is the fool......ha ha!"

I love how she's always had the last line this series. Episode 1 with "You may feel faint", episode 2 with... I forget - and episode 3 with "A HANDBAG" - it makes sure you always remember her at the end!
I WILL be saying "A HANDBAG" to everyone I meet this weekend. If they don't react, I will punch them Caroline stylee for not watching green wing. Then I might pop a tape out of my vagina for good measure.

This episode all about animals, yes, but also punching/physical violence! I was personally a huge fan of the punch Joanna gave Alan -- been waiting for her to smack him one for a long time!
