I think that's a bit harsh, she's a good contrast to Caroline (Little miss perfect as opposed to endearing slob) and she wasn't in it that much - she probably got as much time as the office girls. She was also quite useful in moving the plot along as Caroline confides in her a lot. Admittedly, I don't think we'll really miss her, apart from the chaps no longer having the image of women fighting in bikinis!

The only thing that I found funny was the dancing. Probably because it was not to far away from my own attempts.

I do agree she was a good contrast to Caroline.

Mac's 'The Daddy' of Green Wing - and tonights episode was a welcome return for him as the leader of 'The A-Team', as Caroline calls it.

[I didn't think he was smug - you may be confusing it with affection for Caroline?]

Flying Sue just made my night and I loved the amount of Sue in this episode, she's just so great and flawless as a television character (despite the fact I would want to kill her in real life).

I love Karen. Who knew at the beginning of Season 1 she'd be that passionate. I don't like that she and Martin broke up though. Forget Mac and Caroline (actually don't because they should be together too), these two need to get back together.

Not enough Boyce tonight though

what was up with Boyce's sideburns though? euurgh. not sucha good look ollie! they kept distracting me from him and Statham.

Loved loved loved Guy on this one though - the jet ski with the swiss flag and the arm bands was so good. Sue white was great as well - th mug bit was fantastic!

Did they cut some of this episode after already sending the synopsis off to the press?

Because where was the part about Martin becoming a sperm donor?! (In white just incase anyone's bothered!)

omg forget mac/JRT, i love these writers!

first, when he thought caroline hated him, he was willing to say that it was his fault that he was a fop-haired tw*t just so he could have a chance with her. then he would give up his wittiness when signing angelas card so that she could be happy instead and then he would (shudder) flirt with sue to get guy to stop breaking them up.

what are these writers trying to do to us?

Last nights episode was great. Much better than last week. guy seems to be acting sweeter again. My favorite bit was with the swan.

At the end guy shoved the tape in his mouth when it had been in the dogs mouth!

The Spoons of Deshtiny was the only bit that really made me laugh last week. i think the dialogue was sharper this week between Boyce and Alan for example. I think I prefer it when there's a bit of plot as well which was missing last week but that is just my preference.

I was wondering that - and I put it in white in my post too, when I mentioned it! *lol* I hope that for both of us it really WAS just to hide it against the background, and that there's nothing subliminal in that choice! Wink

i also love the bits where beer comes out of martins mouth and mac's in the toilets and turns round and there's martin taped to the wall! i wonder how long it took to get him up there.

i don't mind having a bit more plot to make it interesting so long as they keep the sketchy bits as priority. last ep was still quite good though. just not as many laughs as previous ones.

Oh God lol! Eek I sincerely hope not!

Tut, there's so few spoilers out there that I've been relying on the plot summaries to get me through! And now I find that even these cannot be trusted. I just want to know what happens, now!!! (then perhaps I can enjoy just the comedy side of Green Wing instead of shouting at the television and annoying whoever I'm sitting with) If I could just get a hold of the final episode script... *dreams*

I LOVED this episode! This series is looking great so far. Sue White had a lot of the funny parts in this but Alan had some fantastic scenes, especially the one in the office with the mug, did anyone else notice he did that whole scene in 1 take? It was amazing! I also loved the Alan and Boyce scenes, very well written and acted.

Unlike a lot of you I liked the scene with the kicking of the cat, I laughed my head off, it looked so fake!

And to top it all off Angela has left *cheers*. This was a grand episode Big Grin

episode 3 was grrreat! watched it last night when it was on and then again this morning just incase i had missed any of it. Sue white has got to be the best! She had some of the best lines but then again boyce and alan were also really good [sigh] I might just have to quote "A HANDBAAG" all week hehe. kept me laughing all the way through.

I found that bit quite hilarious because JRT always brings up his ears in interviews and there was the donkey thing again lol.

I wished i'd tape this episode now, too much to take in last night i wanna watch it again!

I'm rather afraid, as in this house we say "A HANDABAG!?" All the time. Does this mean we are on the same wave length as sue? Please lord no. hahahaha. That may possibly be my favourite bit of all time.

Can i subtly drop into the conversation that i met a doctor who today? hahaha. sorry xxx
