yeah i know whats with robert carlyle lol?! i do seriously think jrt would be a great dr. very attractive and charismatic. i think that bill nighy would make a great dr actually. i know he's quite old but there just something about him.

As much as I worship JRT, I think Steve would make a good Dr too. Robert Carlisle is a definite no-no. And for those who liked Ruby in the Smoke, they are doing a sequel. I did hear somewhere it should be on in the Spring, but IMDB wasn't really forthcoming.

Yeah, I think they're planning on doing all the Sally Lockhart books - should be good: the next two are my favourites. Julie Walters was really good - I must admit I was worried that I would only be able to think of her in Mrs Overall mode! Billie was good - but I don't think she got enough to say. Problem is that in the book you hear a lot of what Sally's thinking, and maybe that wasn't conveyed as much as it could have been. Sally's quite a difficult character because she's really strong and feisty but incredibly scared and vulnerable at the same time... hmm..I really don't see Robert Carlyle... JRT maybe - last xmas the doctor did say he'd always wanted to be ginger!! But actually I think Stephen would be better... What about Eddie Izzard? I know he was one of the people they considered when they revived it...I'm not really sure - he's fantastically funny as a comedian but I don't think I've seen him in enough film/tv to know how well it'd work. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Very glad to be back home: both literally and spiritually  "Just because I feel sick everytime you come near me doesn't mean I'm not glad you're not dead!" Had a bit of a chuckle this morning when my Yahoo Alert for David Tennant came through... Headline is: "Statham to be New Doctor Who" Of course my first immediate thought was Alan Statham!!! Not Jason Statham who they actually meant - that would have to be one of the worst casting decisions of all time....

OMG! how hot was he last night!  he just drips sexiness! loved the whole "the answer is ten-inch - God bless you Billie". its so weird cos each of them are always mentioned when the other is around. its like theyre a couple without actually being a couple, if you get me! bless him when people were asking him questions about his sex life and the naked pics of him. i felt sorry for him, but ahh i love him so much!

I sat and watched it last night virtually in a trance-like state. Just took a sip of my tea and then it cut to him lying on that chaise longue. Needless to say the tea spluttered out of my mouth and my tongue followed. It was brilliant!!

True, but the clothes would have to come off at some point! Hopefully that wouldn't involve a policeman's helmet anyway - and here is me talking like it's actually going to happen to one of us...I knew I ahould have taken my medication this morning <stumbles off muttering wildly>.
