All of green wing is fabulous of course, but which series did you prefer? Series 1, Series 2 or the christmas special?

Series 1 for me.

No question, barring ginger child, proper kiss, pology kiss and banana kiss... It has to be series one all the way

ooh well thought out list Mac V i am impressed yeah i have to say series 1 is pretty good, and was it just me or did anyone else feel let down by the special just a teeny bit?

I think ALOT of people were let down by the special. We all got our hopes up too high.

definately. I know I was let down by it, it just ended to quickly, plus it was really serious and was mostly about Alan and Joanna, which is okay for their fans but i am more of a caromac person myself

series 1 (it introduced me to JRT) the problem with the special was that we knew it was the end ( ) and I personally think they had too many ends to tie up and not enough time, they should have spread it over a few episodes

yeah that makes sense, they crammed too much into 90 minutes

I loved it all, but I think it has to be Series 1 for me too... I’d like to add to this list if I may – although all of the above are particular highlights I’d like to list the following as yet more reasons why S1 was the best…

13. Nettles won’t sting you

It worries me I-Luff-Mac that you think I make sense, not something I'm accussed of too often

series 1 without a doubt

i had forgotten about the nettles thing, and the recorder playing And Martin's hillarious dancing! and plus series one brought us the fabulous party although i think ulifas mentioned that- yeah you do make sense

Series 2 has some classic moments but it has to be series 1!! It's more random which is fun

series 1 had more comedy and series 2 was more romantic.. all those kisses, and the proper kiss! but holly ruined series 2... BABY KILLER... okay i think maybe ive taken it a little too seriously...

the special was funny, and had the realisation between alan abnd boyce of their strange relationship series 1 wins though because it was the most original tv i've ever seen, series 2 operating with mac simply forgetting he was in love with caroline was a cop out lol.

I don't think it gets much better than that. Ever.

If you made me answer that question a few months ago I would've said series 1. Now I've had some distance though I think I prefer season 2 . It was very 'multilevelur' as someone once said and it took you to many places you couldn't have forseen. It also had some great laughs , the pasta banta was a favourite of mine as was guy's 'queen's passage' coversation.
My bestest episode will forever be s 1 ep 5 but series wise the second gave us such an emotional ride to chew over.
I'm sure no one else agrees with me though!

series 1, no series 2, it's so hard. i like them both equally

i love series 2 and the christmas special as i loved the whole thing between mac, caroline and guy that was brill but the special was gud as my two fave characters did eventually get married
