Did anyone catch this mention after the credits tonight? Something about texting for a link to deleted scenes? Has anyone done this? Is it worth it/cost much/different from DVD?

Yes I did. I have text back with a URL which I tried to access unsuccessfully. But I had had quite a few glasses of wine at the time & the URL has an impossible number of random letters & numbers so quite possibly I mis-typed one or more of them. I will try it again at some point & if I find anything of note I'll post again.

Thanks! I'm tempted to text... but afraid it will cost too much and I'll be scammed into one of those ongoing pay a pound (or two) every time you recieve their hourly update kinda things! Annnnnnd Dad will kill me when he gets the bill!

I tried it - you just text mobile to 83188 to get the link - then i tried to download a clip of an interview with stephen and julian but midway thru my internet connection cut off- so I was charged 50p. but didnt get the clip!! Arrrggh!
Tried again and was successful but you have to click on a link to download the footage and my phone wouldn't allow me to- s'no fair!
I wasted £3 on that!

Was the interview one thats likely to be on series 2 DVD?

I don't know- I was just interested in seeing an interview with them talking about the show (I missed T4 & I'm still waiting on the series one dvd arriving from CDWOW.

I texted it. Not sure how much the intial message you send costs but the downloads cost 50p. Theres a really funny deleted scene where they play 'wink murder' in surgery. Also got the Stephen & Julian interview.

To save money, get a friend who likes Green Wing to download some of them and you download different ones then you can just bluetooth them to each other.

yay - i finally got it, had to use a friends phone and bluetooth it- vodaphone online seems to have crashed completely

just talking some nonsense abot the weirdest things they've had to in Green Wing, julian's was riding the motorbike naked and stephen's was pretending to sleep with joanna

The question to SM & JRT is the weirdest thing you ever had to do on GW.

SM said about wearing the very short dressing gown and having to sleep with his mum and JRT said riding his motorbike naked because for sound reasons he couldn't always have the engine on so he had to have 5 guys push him from either end of his route. SM also said to JRT that he thought the weirdest thing JRT had to do was dye his dark brown hair - ginger!
