Ahhh i'll have to think about that one, you try and come up with the goods and 9i'll try and think of an equal punishment to the task if you fail so lots of blackness and horror, so much so it will give you nightmares trying to work out what this punishment will be, but if you come up with the goods you get all the glory and honour something like this deserves and lots of shiny things and postit notes

I like it just after he slaps the swan (wearing arm bands with the Swiss flag on them) when he says to the innocent bystander “I’m a doctor” – very funny!

I agree, Steve Mangan is very good at carrying on a scene and making it funnier with improvisation – am I right in thinking that the “don’t flush it’s lush” was improvised as well? He is a genius!

I heard somewhere that the legendary fidelity of Swans was in question too, that they've been known to 'stray' rather than all that 'mating for life' stuff. I think that was probably Guy's influence; he even destroys the natural habits of swans!

He is fantastic . I just love the comentry on series 1 episode 5 when he is watching himself dance at the party and is horrified at his mad dancing!
I get the feeling that him and Tamsin spend a lot of time taking the p1ss out of JRT from that comentry too. You wouldnt want to be on the recieving end of that would you?! Poor sod..

Steve Mangan makes me laugh on the commentary though because he’s so “un-guy-like” – just proves what a wonderful character actor he is (as well as being hilariously funny of course!)

Yeah I know, Guy makes me want to vomit because he is so smutty , yet SM is clearly a very nice Guy ( ) , and also strangely attractive...
He is indeed a fine actor to pull that off!

Ooooh, on the subject of strange, why is it I find Guy more attractive when he’s being vile?? I know everyone’s been getting over-excited about the train platform scene but I didn’t go anywhere near as crazy over that as I did his “staying alive dancing” at the end of S1!!

I think generally Guy gets away with being mean because he always gets his comeuppance so it’s not like he’s a git and gets away with it – it definitely makes me more compassionate towards him!!

By the way, would just like to add I do have a “hopeless romantic side” that is willing a Caroline/Mac resolution but I like to try and keep that as well hidden as possible… (I think it stems from growing up with 3 brothers!!)

I cried when Dennis died in Sharon's arms on Eastenders! It was so sad...Or am I so sad? Oh I dont know!

When they play out a love story on a programme I have to see a happy ending , I do get upset if it goes tits up.

But then soap operas aren’t really my bag I find them rather tedious and repetitive. No offence though Jemma – each to their own and all that…

i am scared of swans, you that they can get well, VIOLENT! i was on a school trip to this farm and the man in charge said that if onw comes over to you, hold your arms out, like tha angel of the north, so the bird feels small, and it will leave you alone. this was of course all lies, because a huge swan came over to me, and i put my arms out and it bit my finger! and made it bleed, i was not most impressed as you could of imagined, and i have never been near a swan again! very scary birds!
