I posted this in another thread but this is probably more like the place for it ... although there are so many threads for the same kind of topic it's hard to know where's best! Anyway, copy/pasted then:
When Holly first arrived she was actually quite nice. Trying to scotch any ideas Caroline may have that she's trying to 'lure' Mac away, but Caroline saying she couldn't lure him obviously hurt her feelings and after that was when she got nasty.

I DO think she's nasty now, but she was clearly uncomfortable when she realised there might be something going on between Mac and Caroline and picked up on the tension saying she'd made a 'fab new friend' already. She was actually trying to be nice at first, but having been given the cold shoulder and a somewhat cruel comment by Caroline she's evidently made up her mind to prove her wrong.
Don't blame her for that, but that doesn't mean I don't still want her to be the loser in the end (ooh, bit of a Queen moment there!)
