I thought that; it was quite reminiscent of 'The Impossible Planet'/'The Satan Pit' from series two.

I don't really know what I think of it, to be honest - all I know is that I preferred the two-parter from last series. Having said that it did have me gritting my teeth from start to finish.

i didnt watch yesterdays, i was out and the recorder didnt work, was listening to the podcast from last weeks one (cos im cool), and the space suit he puts on is the exact same one except they had painted it a didfferent colour as the one used in satans pit.

I thought last week's episode was so so so lovely, and I agree that Martha really fitted in well. It was like she took it all on the chin, and knew what she had to do and was doing it.

I spent most of Saturday night tryign to think how it will end next week. I mean we know the doc has to leave but (spoiler): how will he leave his wife and kids? I think it is going to herald some awesome acting from DT. Imagine how he will react when he remembers who he is, yet realises he has kids and a wife he loves but has to leave them. Do you think he will be mad at Martha for not stopping him? I mean bless her, she's tried enough!

End spoiler. (BTW that was including clips of next week for those who wondered where I got all that from)

Does Russell T Davies remember the whole basis in William Hartnals day ( no I'm not that old) was that the doctor had no control of the Tardis and could not get the assistants back to earth, these days he's unable to get them away from it

I don't want to spoil the plot of last weeks Doctor Who because a. I thought it was fab (and so well written also they all acted brillantly)and I don't want to ruin the ending! And b. I'm not very good at explaining things!
But if you go on to y**t*** and type in 'Family of Blood Doctor Who' there are some clips of the episode and I think someone will uploaded it.

I did that but they only showed clips up until like 20 mins into it...they missed the end! Unless more have been uploaded, but unfortunatley I'm at work so cannot watch it subtely. I'll see if I can cope for another week or two.

that was nasty for doctor who! i always get scared of those gargoyal things, and that little feature at the end where they showed all the stone people around the country was unfair!... next door has one of those statues lmao!

I must have watched a dif episode to the rest of you.After that it's official after 30 years of being a doctor who fan I give up.That was rubbish . Please there was a kids program in the 80's that was set at Berkley Castle that had that moving statues and believe me it was a lot scarier and pretty much the same plotline

Off to find my jon Pertwee and Tom Baker episodes.
