We loved him as "Brian" in Spaced...thought his contribution and physical humour in Big Train was great... but "Dr.Statham" touches comic genius.
Makes John Cleese and "Basil Fawlty" look hammy and one dimensional.
Mark Heap is the dogs testicle.

Agreed.

The way he plays Statham is simply amazing.

He can make the simplest of tasks (ie. walking from one spot to another) absolutely hilarious.

I loved the fact that even though they had decided a watery end, he still thought about creating havoc by swallowing a toy soldier!

I love Mark Heap as Statham and i'm really gonna miss not seeing him anymore as he really does make me laugh, although i can watch him again and again on DVD. I love the way he says 'you bloody', ha ha!! The socks and sandals were perfect and the trousers pulled up really high! He's definitley got to be one of my top comedy actors ever.

I've not seen him in any of his other roles yet like Spaced and Big Train...but must see them! I did see him in Confetti, which unfortunately wasnt a very big part at al.

Mark Heap i salute you!! Smile

Statham is brilliant, Mark Heap is the only person who could pull him off. i can't think of anyone who could have played the role better.

Me too! I honestly think it's a good idea - confuse the pathologists and play with them from the grave Big Grin

And I agree with everyone! Legend!

I have to whole heartedly agree here. For me, Mark Heap has been utterly fantastic to watch even since I first clapped eyes on him in Brass Eye back in 96 or there abouts.

He's also in other Chris Morris work like Jam. If anyone's interested. This could be too dark and surreal for many, but I think it's completely marvellous.

It's great to see how much variety he is capable of too. In Green Wing I was really rather impressed with the physicality of his humour, a new one on me. Amazing timing with plucking a flying pottyputty from the air then slapping Boyce. Or the demand to decant Mac's drink from his "World's Best Lover" mug, then peferctly bouncing the mug in the air for quite sometime before letting it fly over his shoulder. Looks so simple but I bet it took a while to get right.

My hat's off to him, and indeed everyone who made Green Wing such a masterpiece! Well at least it would be if I had one, but you get the point Wink

Cheers!
