OK, I don't know if anyone's suggested this already, and I'm too lazy to go through this entire forum to check, but here's my theories on Mac's results:

1) Guy did it as a bad taste joke
2) Holly did it as revenge on him for not taking her back
3) Angela did it back when Sue let her leave on the day she resigned, on the condition that she tell Mac that Caroline has an incurable disease. Maybe she stuffed up and tampered with his results, instead of somehow making out Caroline was the dying one??

Just a thought!! (Have had GW on the brain all day!)

But who knows what to expect?!!! I do know that the writers would have to be very mean if it turns out he is dying. As if he is, come on!!

The thing is it could be any of the above!
Lets be honest it is very likely that this 'death' thing is split up Mac and Caroline as so many people want either one!
I just hope it will be the last thing we expect as the greatness of GW is in the element of surprize!
In a feature length episode they could do anything , which is grand
I do think that Guy has a hand in it though , I love it when he is evil .

i honestly dont think it was guy, he wouldve know that mac would find out on that day, and seemed SO genuine when he said the nice stuff about mac. guy has done a lot of bad things, but i really really doubt he would do that

Was thinking more along the lines of him playing a bad joke on him and doing it, but yeah, highly doubt he'd pick that day to do something like that on.
