Very much hoping that's what happens. I can't help but think they could have hung onto Rix till the end of the season, but clearly, no, he couldn't have stayed in the long term.

it seems a bit insane to run repeats the week before the dvd release. anyone woth a dvdr and any sense will record them for free and forget about the £15. unfortunately i have a dvdr but no sense as to how to use it, so i will be buying the nice shiny boxset.

Pre-ordered it a few weeks ago. Love the cover - Alan with his recorder!

Mine too...I might be getting a bit too excited about Friday...ended up watching last nights episode and then the last episode on dvd, because the swines at C4 have moved GW to 12.25 tonight to accommodate showing bloody Basic Instinct - AGAIN - which means its past my bedtime on a school night - what a thing to do!

Has anyone listened to the DVD commentaries yet?

Yes, the best one is for episode 5 - the party, where the actors are commenting on the episode. I'd be interested to hear other peoples opinion of the commentaries before I say any more.

Yes i listened to the commentaries too. I think they are pretty good, i like the way they switch the people around in the episode so you get lots of different perspectives. I doubt many dvds have commentaries from costume and make-up people!
Maybe would have been nice to hear from some of the rest of the cast, i think Mark Heap in particular would have been great on it.

I agree the Episode 5 one is the best
