There are many sports and hobbies and here are some of them I've tried.
Parachuting: I jumped from a perfectly good aeroplane and discovered its a great cure for constipation.
I love fast cars and even faster motorbikes, also good for constipation.
I used to go clay pigeon shooting until the friends of the earth pointed out that clay had feelings too. (Thinks) I wonder how they lay their eggs.
I took part in an international yacht race once (true) from Scotland to Norway. All the yachts had gathered in a harbour, just down the coast from where I live. On the morning of the race all the crews were getting ready to put to sea and I went up the ladder to dump our rubbish in the skip provided, when I was approached by a man from the local radio station.
'Excuse me sir, are you taking part in the race'
Me 'Yes'
'And which yacht are you on'
where upon I pointed at the boat and said 'That one, and for those of you listening in black and white, its the Orange one next to the blue one' Mind you the yacht I was on won the prize for endurance, which was the polite way of saying, we came last.
I tried fishing but was cr*p at it. so it was more like taking a worm for a swim, but I did enjoy standing at the end of the pier with my rod in my hand.
I've also had a go at Scuba Diving but the water pressure screwed up my hearing for a week. That was the same time the Spice Girls brought out their first single. So every cloud DOES have a silver lining.
On a serious note, I suffer from Epilepsy (True) and I once went to the Epilepsy Society's Brake Dancing Championship.
Three of Competitors were banned for not taking their medication.
