Ravi: That geezer over there. I thought he was looking at you.

Leila meets up with Kris who is at The Dog. She sits down next to him.

Kris : Well hello birthday girl, first drinks on me.

Leila: Thanks but I'm only staying for one. Ravi promised free drinks for us tonight at The Loft.

Kris: Well, isn't that just fantastic. I'll wear something utterly fabulous.

Leila: As long as you don't out show me.

Kris: Oo Leila, got yourself an admirer over there.

Leila: Who? What! Where?

Kris: That guy over there. By the pond. He can't keep his eyes off of you.

Leila spots the same man as before, this time standing by the pond. He sees her looking, smiles and waves.
Leila quickly turns back to Kris.

Leila: No! No! He's not interested in me. I mean why would he be. I've never seen him before. Ever. He's a total stranger...

Kris: Whatever. He's totally after you.

Leila: Maybe ... maybe it's you he wants.

Kris: Hmmm. You've got a point. Now come on, drink up.

Leila down her drink & quickly stands up.

Kris : Hold your horses girl! I haven't even drank half of mine yet. What's with the speed drinking?

Leila : Just ... in a rush. Busy busy busy. Got to dash, so sorry , but you know, need to start getting ready.

Kris : Love, I'm an expert on getting ready & even I don't take this long.

Leila : Sorry.

She darts off , leaving Kris sitting looking bemused.

Kris : That girl ...

As she walks home , the man stands up and begins following her. She jumps into the Drive 'N' Buy & begins looking at a stand of beans.

The man follows her in and begins rifling through the shelves.

Gilly : They're all the same.

Leila : What?

Gilly : The beans , they're all the ...

Leila dashes out of the shop and races back to the flat. She chances looking behind her but the mystery man is nowhere in sight.

She collapses on the sofa & a tear slowly rolls down her cheek.
Heading to her room, the tears become heavier as she flicks through a stack of photos. Finding the one she wants, she sits down on her bed and sobs.

Leila : I hate you!

She flings the photo to the floor. In it is Leila smiling happily next to the mystery man ...
