It’s the not knowing that he can’t stand. Not knowing whether he can actually blurt out the suppressed feelings to her. Yeah, she’s been having a pretty rough time of it lately, and probably just needs a mate to back her up, but he still has this irresistible urge to declare that yeah, he doesn’t love her, but there is some sort of attraction still there.
He likes her, cares for her. She knows that. But if these last few weeks have taught him anything is that life is too short. He knows they’re both still young, but he wants to experience a relationship that actually means something other than the flings he has had in the past, which in theory, never lasted longer than a few months.

He finds that most people dislike his temperamental character, and can’t take the criticism he gives morning, noon and night. Most people in her position would have disappeared long ago. But he just has this feeling that she’s different. Yes, she has judged him in the past. But the thing is, he had grown to expect that from everybody. Everybody of course excluding her; she was on the pedestal of perfection until then. The tiny flaws drawn out and picked upon to annoy her.
He could spend an afternoon in her company and not get bored of the dribble she recites about the latest fashions to walk down the catwalk; mainly because he knows he can take the piss out of her at the same time. And that will eventually lead them to having an argument, and later making up in an explosive fashion.

And however bizarre this may seem, he wants to know how it feels to be with her, and without talking to her about it, he will never get to know.
All he is sure of in life are his feelings, and he has always acted on them. However, the feelings of another person are a different matter. And at this current moment in time, delving into Jessica Harris’s mind is one thing he does not wish to contemplate.

But soon. He will be ready.

brill just brill nout much really happened but you captured it in really good detail! perfection!

Can't really do much more cause of college deadlines for uni etc. And the fact that when I normally start fanfics Iget bored with them half way through and never finish...so I usually just do one parters now :-)
