Jess sat in her room, her eyes puffy from crying, she couldn’t believe what her best friend lily had told her on the phone just a few days ago, there was a knock at the door and zoe came in

Zoe: Jess, you’ve got to come out sometime, we’re all worried about you. What’s wrong?

Jess: Nothing, I just need some time alone right now…….

Zoe: Jess, please, you can tell me anything

There was an awkward silence and after two minuites zoe left, she didn’t know what was wrong but it seemed serious…

Kris: so whats up with her then??

Zoe: I don’t know but she’s in a really bad way

Kris: *mutters to himself* typical jess, making everyone feel sorry for her

Zak: look, kris mate, youse don’t know whats wrong with her so just shut your pie hole!

Kris: and neither do you!!

Jess walks in

Jess: *quietly* oh don’t stop talking about me on my account, carry on..

Kris: Jess, whats up with you, youre acting as if someone has died!!

Jess doesn’t say anything

Kris: JESS!!

Jess: Someone has died ok! My first boyfriend Richard, in a car crash! Happy now!!

Jess storms to her room

Kris: *shouts after her* Jess, I’m sorry

Jess: Oh, so now your nice! I bet if you didn’t know you’d still be being mean to me!!

And with that she slams the door in his face

It had been two days and jess wasn't talking to
kris, he knew it was all his own fault but he just hated it when she was like this. He hated it because he was always the one who gave the silent treatment, it was wierd to be on the receiving end. he came out of his room and into the kitchen.

Zoe: hey, how are things between you and jess?

Kris: not great, she hates me..

Zoe: she doesn't hate you, she's just really angry with you, things will be better after the funeral, I promise.

Kris: do you really think so? When is the funeral anyway?

Zoe: next week...

Kris: Oh, so I suppose she'll be gone for a few days then.

Zoe: ummm, yeah, a few days..

what kris didn't know was that jess was leaving the halls for a month to live with her parents, she needed time to get over things. Zoe knew this but didn't want to be the one to tell kris, that was up to jess.

Kris left for his lecture and Zoe was left in the flat alone, she decided to go and meet jess at Il Gnosh. As she got there jess was just leaving, she had been feeling much better but was dreading the funeral, the linked arms and walked to the dog.

Zoe: Your gonna have to tell kris about you leaving, it would kill him if you just left without giving him a reason...

Jess: yeah whatever zo, as if he'd care!

Zoe: of course he does, he's been trying to apologise for the past two days!

Jess knew zoe was right, but she was going to wait until kris apologised again, then she could act as if she was doing him a favour by forgiving him, act as if she didn't want to make up even though she desparatley did want to.
Just then Darren walked over and zoe blushed bright red, the smell of his cheap aftershave was so overpowering, jess couldn't see what zoe liked about him.

Darren: Hey zoe, great to see you!

Zoe: Darren, didn't expect to see you here!

Darren: Well, I do own this pub...

Zoe: oh, yeah,*giggles*

Jess: You know I'm here aswell

Darren: oh hi, anyway zoe, want to come out for a meal this friday..

Jessica left them to it, she walked out of the dog and saw kris walking towards her, her heart skipped a beat and her mouth went dry, he looked so great in her little black Versace skirt, hang on a sec, HER Versace skirt!!

Jess: What do you think your doing wearing MY skirt!!

Kris: Oh, sorry jess, didn't know it was that important to you..

Jess was surprised by his tone, it wasn't harsh or sarcastic, it was kind and caring, not at all like kris.

Jess: Who are you and what have you done with kris?!

Kris: Oh so I try and be nice and you don't like it, whatever jess

He starts to walk away but jess grabs his hand

Jess: No, you stupid tranny, I do like it! In fact I think I..

She stopped herself before she could go any further, she couldn't admit that she loved him, no way!

Kris: You think you what...

Jess: Forget I said anything!

She starts to run off but kris can easily catch her up, why did she chose this day to wear heels!!

Kris: Come on jess, you can't keep doing this!

Jess: I know, look, I wasn't going to tell you but I'm leaving for st.albans in 3 days

Kris: yeah, I know, the funeral and all.

Jess: but the thing is, I'm leaving for a month..

Kris: Oh..

Jess: Look, I'm sorry but I have to! I can't stand it here!

Kris: Oh and by that you probably mean you can't stand me!

Jess: kris, no, I didn't-

Kris: Whatever

He ran off and jess knew she'd never be able to catch him, she walked over to the fountain and started crying...

Jess ran home when it started raining, she got there and let herself inside, kris was sitting in the lounge talking to zoe

Kris: oh, look, here it is!

(gonna use a teeny bit from another fanfic I read coz i think it'd fit really well)

Jess: "It" has a name...

Kris: Well I could think of a lot of names I could call you right now but none of them do you any justice!

Zoe: KRIS!

Kris: Well It's true!

Jess: Whatever..

She ran to her room and started stuffing anything, everything, into her suitcase, Obviously nobody wanted her there so why didn't she just leave early? When she had finished she grabbed her handbag and walked out her room. She walked past kris and zoe, out of the halls and into the cold, crisp night air. She got a taxi to the train station and bought a one way ticket to London, from there she would get a taxi or train to St.Albans.

Back at the halls...

Kris: Thank god she's gone!

Zoe: Kris thats really- *phone bleeps*

Zoe: It's a text from Jess

hiya zo, I've decided to move back to my parents house forever, its obvious none of you want me there, I'm going to go to the uni there instead, all my love, Jess...x

Kris: Good riddance!

As soon as he said it he regretted it, he knew he would miss jess loads and he couldn't bear to be without her..

Kris: Oh god, I didn't mean that! Zoe We've gotta stop her!

Zoe: So you've finally come to your senses then!!

Kris: Yeah! Lets go!

So they got a taxi and made their way to the train station, kris leaped out of the car (leaving zoe to pay) and ran to the platform where Jess' train was leaving.

Kris: NO!

Zoe: Kris, hun, it's too late, I'm sorry..

Kris: Zoe, there was so much I wish I'd told her...

Jess: Like what?

Kris turned around and jess was standing there behind him, he smiled and she ran up to him and wrapped her arms and legs around him in a tight hug

Kris: But I thought you were leaving...

Jess: yeah well, I realised I couldn't leave without giving my favourite tranny a proper goodbye!

Jess kissed him lightly on the lips and pulled away, kris pulled her back in and they were soon passionatley kissing on the platform. Jess pulled away after a while

Jess: Kris, would you..

Kris: would I what?

Jess: will you come to the funeral with me, I need you for support..

Kris: Of course you dozy cow!

Jess: Great, pack your bags for tomorrow then!

Kris, Jess and Zoe got a taxi home. Kris spent the night in jess' room breaking bed legs...

The next day Jess and Kris were whizzing around the house trying to make sure they were prepared before leaving, Jess dropped her phone down the back of the sofa, she reached down to get it and when she pulled her hand up there was a huge black spider on it!

Jess: ahhhhh! KRIIIIISSSS!!!

Kris: whats wrong?

Jess: Spi-spi-spider!!!! on my hand, I can't get it off!!

Kris: Oh come here!

He picked it up and put it in a glass, then went off in search of it's girlfriend because, as we all know, spiders mate for life and he felt sorry for it being without it's loved one. He went into his bedroom and easily found one that looked just like the other one and set them free out the window.

Jess: Kris, spiders can't fly! Those two little lovers will fall to their deaths!!

Kris: Yes, but they can crawl down the wall, right...?

Jess: ummm, of course!

Kris: Anyway, whats up with you? The way you screamed I thought you were dying!

Jess looked sad and Kris remembered

Kris: Oh, sorry jess..

Jess: no, don't worry, I'm getting over the initial shock of it all.

Kris: Right, well we'd better be off now!

Jess: Yep, BYE ZOE!! SAY BYE TO ZAK AND ELLIOT FOR US!

Zoe: (from her room) BYE GUYS, HAVE FUN!!

When kris and jess left the halls zoe realised how completley stupid it sounded! Have fun, at a funeral? Wait till zak hears about that one!
