Elliot is at the flat getting ready to meet Emily.

K: What you upto Elly?
E: Emilys coming over to visit. Everything has to perfect.
K: Why shes just family, Its healthy to see what messy squat we live in, let them pity us.
E: You dont understand
K: What? I dont understand most things
E: Shes OCD
K: Ok.
E: If she sees one thing outta place she'll go mad.
K: Fine. Do you need any help?
E: No. Its ok
K: So whys your sister visiting?
E: Shes coming here in September, wants to see whats she in for.
K: My brothers coming for September as well. He is trouble.
E: Dont let him come near my sister then.

On the train.

Emily is sitting engrossed in a book. When someone knocks her.

Em: OI!
:: What?
Em: You just knocked me
:: So.
Em: You think thats funny.
:: I do actually.
Em: Arrogant.
: Sorry?
Em: You heard me. You cant go around knocking people.
:: I just did.

Elliot is at the train station. Emilys train pulls up. He sees her.

E: Here she is.
Em: Hi Elliot.

They hug.

E: How was your trip?
EM: It would have been better if this arrogant fool hadnt knocked me over while reading.
E: Are you ok?
Em: Yeha Im alright, it just angered me. So come on tell me whats been going on?
E: Nothing interesting.
Em; Cummon. No girl? You dumped Rhiannon for some reason
E: No girl no.
Em: Why you dump a perfectly good girl then?
E: I wanted too. Hows mum?
Em; Shes fine. Bit miffed still that you dumped Rhiannon.
E: Stop mentioning her then. we could have fun.
Em: Alright, so no crushes then?
E: Err no..
Em: Youre blushing, who is she?
E: Ill tell you later, now lets get your stuff out.

Back at the flat.

Kris is on the sofa, theres a knock.

K: Someones forgotten their keys again Elliot.

He answers his face falls

K: Perry?
P: Alright Fran.
K: Come here.

They hug.

K: I wasnt expecting you for another week.
P: Thought Id surprise you. Dad was annoying me.
K: You should have called, I could have met you
P: It wouldnt have been a surprise then would it
K: Sit down. How was your trip.
P: It was alright expect for this uptight girl on the train went in a right old mood when I knocked her reading a book.
K: Oh dear. I hope you dont mind but Elliot--
P: Which ones Elliot?
K: Elliots the alien specialist.
P: The weirdo.
K:yeah but dont call him that.. anyway his sisters coming here for a few days.
P: Should be fun.

K: Is this Emily.
Em: I am. This is a nice flat. Who did the decorating?
K: Yeah Elliot who did do teh decorating I never asked when I came back.
E: Zoe and Jess.
Em: Wheres my room then?
E: Im afraid its the couch we have a full house here.
Em: Fine. its ok.
K: Elliot I better tell you something.
E: What?
K: My brother is here.
E: Ok.
K: Are you sure?
E: Itll probably be nice for Emily to have someone her own age to talk to.
K: Ok.

Perry comes out of the bathroom and sees Emily on the couch.

P: Its you. Following me now?
Em: Whats he doing here?
P: visiting my brother.
Em: I aint staying here as long as he is here.
E: Calm down Emily.
Em: Either he goes or I go.
E: No niether of you two are going.

Emily storms into the bathroom.

P: Whats her problem?
E: Shes OCD.
P: Oh that explains a lot.
K: You better apologise.
P: Why I did nothing wrong?
K: We need you to get along for this week
P: Well she aint getting an apology

K: Go NOW
P: Woah testy testy
E: I can see where you get your humor from Kris.
P: Ill go.

Perry goes into the bathroom where he sees Emily neatining things in the bathroom.

Em: Nothing in here is right, its so dirty in here.
P: Calm down.
Em: I cant until this bathroom is clean.
P: Sit down.
Em: You dont understand.

Perry takes her hand

Em: What are you doing?
P: You can finish that later.
Em: Whats more important?
P: I owe you an apology
Em: For what?
P: My behaviour

Perry sees Emilys legs shaking.

P: Whats wrong?
Em: If I cant clean this bathroom can I at least step out so I cant see this mess.
P: Sure.
Em: Thanks.

They step out.

Em: You were saying.
P: Im sorry.
K: For what?
P: Shut up Francis.
EM: I accept your apology. This doesnt mean we are friends though.
P: I wouldnt ask for anything less.

I just think its funny how much Perry is so like Kris. And i think that Perry and Emily are cute together even though they're not ( i just get that feeling). Can't wait till Friday!!

K: I guess you ave to sleeps in Zaks room he gone away to see his parents for some time. Have you got a place to sleep yet Emily?

P: That sofa looks to uncomfortable.

P: You can always sleep in my room, we can swap around.

P: Ha! got you there no way would I give up a perfectly good bed.
K: Hey that wasnt so nice was it?

K: Point, by the way the names Kris.

Em: Why does he call you Francis if your name is Kris?
K: Kris is my middle name.
Em: Ok. Well Elliot you going to show me around this village.
E: Ill let you get settled in first.
Em: Theres something I have to do first.
P: Finish cleaning.

E: Mum hadnt told me she got worse. Im not going to be able to handle this.

Kris and Elliot go. Perry knocks on the bathroom door.

P: Is it clean yet.
Em: Dont patronise me.
P: Im not.
Em: You are.

Emily opens the door.

Em: I know you dont like me, so why talk yourself into taking care of me.
P: You dont know I may like you.
Em: Yeah right. I know you dont want to look out for me, youd rather be in your own little world. I know guys like you, and they dont get on with girls like me.
P: *laughs* Sorry?
Em: This is all one big joke to you isnt it?
P: No.
Em: Why laugh then?
P: It was called for.
Em: Leave me alone.
P: If I do that then Im not living upto what I just talked myself into. Therefore Kris is right and I dont want that ego to get any bigger.

Emily laughs.

P: See I knew I could get you laughing.
Em: What is this then?
P: Lets see.

A little later on.

Em: Ha! I win again
P: I just keep giving you chances
EM: Yeah right any excuse.
P: Another game.
Em: Yea ok.
P: Are you reds again.
Em: Yep.

Em: So why did you say youd look out for me.
P: I dont know why, I thought that if Kris could see I could do things right for a change maybe he can get off my case.
Em: What have you done so wrong?
P: My parents havent started to trust me agai since the dog died.
Em: Was it your fault then?
P: What?
Em: Your dogs death.
P: Oh no, it just got put down the day I did this.
Em: And what did you do?
P: Look, erm I dont want to get into this now.
Em: I want to.

Emily gets off from the floor and sits by Perry on the sofa.

Em: Tell me.
P: Look dont you have some cleaning to do.
Em: Sorry?
P: I said I dont want to get into it but you are asking
Em: Maybe if you get it off your chest you can move on.
P: Maybe I dont want to talk about it.
Em: Fine.

Emily starts putting the game away. Perry wlks into the kitchen and watches her special way of putting it away.

Em: I going to get ready for bed.
P: Get ready in my room.
Em: Is that an invitation?
P: No, Im just saying you can have my room. Ill have the sofa.
Em: Are you sure? No Jokes this time?
P: No. Im serious.
Em: Thanks.

Emily gives Perry a hug and goes.. She turns to Perry.

Em: By the way I think youve done an ok job with me today.
P: What do you mean?
Em: You havent drawn attention to me and made sure everything was ok for me because of this thing I have, something Ive wanted Elliot and my whole family to do for ages. Youve been yourself.
P: Thanks.
Em: Youre welcome.

Emily goes to bed. A little after 11 Kris and Elliot come back bashing into the door.

K: SSssshhh!
E: Sorry.
K: I love the drunk Elliot.
E: Im not drunk.
K: Ok now say that without the slurring.
E: Im.. Im.. I cant.
K: Lets go in.

They see Perry on the sofa.

K: OI!

Perry wakes.

P: Youll wake Emily.
E: Where is she?
P: I said she can have my bed
K: Oh my brother, the gentleman.
P: Long overdue.
K: Well at least nothings gone missing this time. and youre gone.
E: Sorry?
K: Well back where we lived mister got himself into trouble with what was it..
P: Gamblers
E: Gambling? Youre only 18
K: Early bird catches the worm. Well anyway he owed, quite alot of money to this person so he decided to steal some of our mothers priceless necklaces and sell them off at the local pawn shop.
P: Shut up Kris and go to bed.
K: I will do.

Kris walks over to the sofa and falls over

P: Kris?

Perry walks over and sees Kris sleeping.

E: I best be off to bed.
P: Wher am I supposed to sleep? He has taken my spot.
E: I dont know. Find somewhere.

Perry looks over to a comatosed Kris grabs his balnket and walks over to the room Emilys sleeping in. He knocks on the door.

Em: Who is it?
P: It me, Perry.
Em: What are you doing?
P: Can I sleep in with you tonight. Kris has kinda taken my spot.
Em: Why dont you take his room?
P: Its a mess in there, I tried it. Please.
Em: Come in then.

Perry walks in.

P: Sorry if I woke you.
Em: You didnt wake me dont worry.
P: Werent you asleep?
Em: Iwas until those twosome come in.
P: Did you hear about
Em: What happened to you? Yes
P: And..
EM: So what.. you were only trying to pay off things. Im sure Kris would have done the same thing.
P: Thanks.

Peery gives her a hug and chuckles.

Em: What?
P: Who would ahve thought by the end of today we would be friends.
Em: Life works in mysterious ways.
