I'm not normally a fan of err....fanfics, but I've recently got sucked into some of them against my will, especially the Craig & JP ones! However, some of them I've noticed lately are getting very 'suggestive' in terms of the content.

As someone way, WAY above the 18+ threshold myself I really enjoy reading the more..graphic..fics personally, but was wondering if some of the fics should have ratings so that the younger and/or more innocent? amongst us can choose if they want to read the more 'explicit' (in terms of language and/or content) fics first?

I dont mean to start anything negative, its just something I've seen them do on other websites regarding Fanfic and it seems to work pretty well. Please ignore me if you think I'm nuts or going a bit far with the suggestion!

P.s. Louise1 I am really enjoying your 'Last Journey' fic, its one I can actually imagine happening!

It is a good idea. Perhaps when writing fanfics, if the authors put a not in the title giving the rating or lettind readers know if it contains bad language or graphic scenes etc...

I was wondering this as well, given that most stuff I write tends to the more graphic (and also being way over 18 too...)I really wasn't sure about whether to post any more.I'd be happy to do ratings.

I like you're idea very much. Though I do wanna say that generally you need to be 16+ to use these forums, but as we all know, the Admin can't check peoples identities. So it's easy to lie.

If any fanfics become rather graphic, or people post new ones, please put 18+ in the title to ensure that the minors know what to expect, or not to read at all.

But yeah, you need to be 16+ to use C4 Forums, but there are some that bend the system. Which is a disapointment.
