Ha its me again. I couldn't resist writing another one.
So this first bit is just telling you all you need to know, set the scene if you like . .
So this fanfic follows the storylines from after Christmas. Olivia and Joe died in the fire still (r.i.p), the students have gone for Christmas break, and are returning to halls. Of course I will alter the story to my own liking
The main characters are Jess, Kris, Zoe, Zak & Will (hate him . .you may see where this is going). Some other characters may pop up later, like Steph, Elliot & Nathan (hate him too) but that would be later on.

Leanne a.k.a Narrator: Halls. Usually the hub of the student life. Full of activity. Some of it not particular wholesome, but activity all the same. But it seemed eerily quiet. The curtains pulled to darken the flat, every piece of furniture was in a monotone shade, except for the line of light shining through the front door. The only noise, was the footsteps outside approaching from the distance. It seemed like they had took a lifetime walk the distance of the hall. But the sound eventually stopped suddenly. The connection of metal to metal could be heard as keys where being gangled, trying to open the door. And all of a sudden a familiar, yet lonely voice could be heard.
A splash of light entered the room, just as the women did. Beautiful, but in a dignified way. Short, brunetter hair drapped down her face, clutching a very expensive looking back. Her eyes flickering as she turned on the light and tryed to adjust to the light flashing. She was home again, but with a sigh, wished she hadn't returned . .
leanne may i say wow i dont usually read student or kress fics but this is so brilliantly wrote and descriptive, i love it you must continue what an excellent writer you are
I ♥ movies & getting caught in the rain, just hold back on the pina colada There's nothing more sexy than a time travelling glasses wearing time lord lol
There's nothing that can't be solved with a little rock salt, a gun and Sam & Dean, oh yeah! Fanatical about Torchwood & Jack/Ianto-because stopwatches can be VERY fun!
Jess: Amazing. The first time ive ever been first or early for anthing. But then again thats usually for getting ready to go to the S.U bar.
She pondered for a moment, and then returned to the place which she had had so many memories of her and Olivia. Her best friend. Sometimes her only friend. It felt like it. It felt like Kris, Zoe and Will hated her, had some kind of prejudice against her for who she was. It annoyed her, for the fact that they weren't exactly 'normal'. A cross dresser, a child genuis and a tom boy. It sounded like a episode of Jeremy Kyle just waiting to happen.
Jess: Hello room! Hello Ikea wardrobe!
She started to unpack her things in a tidy fasion, but was interupted by the sound of two very familiar voices to her.
Zak: Im tellin ya Zo, at the end of this season we'll be up their with Man U and Chelsea. The season always kik's in after Christmas . .
Jess looked at them from top to toe. Taking the in, like she hadn't seen them in years. She noticed that Zak, as usual, didn't really take much pride in his appearance, maybe thats what we all found endearing about him, he was just Zak, no thrills, no added sugar. And then there was Zoe. She was so beautiful, but too coy to admit it to herself. Long dirty blonde hair, green eyes. Quite petite but I suppose it added to her cuteness. They looked so right together . . But it seems like fate always keeps them apart.

Jess breathed I sigh of relief. The thing she most worried about returning, is the reaction of Zoe. She thought that she would despise her, blame her for Olivia and Joe. I know it wasn't my fault, but grieving makes you do strange things. People need to find someone to blame. Im just glad Zoe didn't target me. . .
They spent the next few hours talking about life in general. How there break had been. Zoe could see the guilt in Jess' eyes as she listened attentedly to their many stories
Zoe: Your still thinking about her aren't you? Jess you have to stop blaming yourself. You'll make yourself ill.
Jess: I cant help it Zo. If I hadn't had that arguement with her, then things could have been different.
Zak: Jess, Zoe's right. You cant keep saying What if this . .? or What if I dont than . .? I know I wasn't around when all this happened but im sure Olivia wouldn't want you to blame yourself
This was little comfort to Jess. All she could imaging was Olivia's face in the Dog that night. Full of hate, anger. I know they were trying to be supportive, but I cant help the feeling that im to blame, and as soon as Kris and Will return, my thoughts will be backed up . .
This bed seemed so comfortable. It was like my security from prying eyes. No one could say a bad word about me while I was under this cover. I could hear Zoe rattling around, scavenging for pans or a cup or something . .
Zak: Im scarved Zo
Zoe: What do you expected me to do, magic a piece of toast from a top hat. Zak there's nothing in here. We ate it all before Christmas.
Zak: Right well I think we should go II Gnosh
Zoe: Thats sounds like a plan.
Jess: What does?
Zoe: Oh you up, good! Were going to get some breakfast. Coming?
Jess: I dont think thats the kind of food they serve here
Zak's face dropped at the thought of eating something wasn't a familiarity with him. My face had been a picture of miserable since I left my room.
Zoe: You both look like you've been told the apocolypse is coming. Lets turn those frowns upside down.
Jess' made a weak gesture of a smile. Zoe, the enternal optimistic
Zak: Thats a bit overdramatic Zo. More like Liverpool losing the F.A cup
Zak, the eternal man.
Zoe: Whats going on outside?
Jess: Well I assume its all the students coming back from holidays. Its so annoying. What have they got to be happy about? Hugging each other in front of each other.
Zak: Jess, take the bitterness down a few notches
What did he mean bitter, im not bitter, how dare he say im bitter . . .
