Jess decided she needed some fresh air, breathing pace between herself and her friends. She walked into the village. It looked so peaceful. Their was snow still on the branches and tables in II Gnosh. You'd have to be mentally unstable to want to eat outside with this weather, Jess thought. Then something caught Jess' attention. The wall outside The Loft had be painted, with the faces of those who had lost their lives in the Dog fire.

Jess: Oh Olivia. I wish you were here. I would make sure we never argued again . .

It suddenly struck Jess that maybe Kris was right. Maybe she was heartless, spoilt . .

Kris: You know, if you stay out here much longer, your face will freeze with that look, and its not attractive . .

Jess turned around in asstonishment. She didn't understand why he was talking her, or why he hadn't said anything hurtful to her

Kris: I came to apologize. I crossed the line with what I said.

Jess: Did you just say sorry to me? Did you just be civil to me?

Kris: Take a good luc because its theonly time. I still dont fully forgive you

A sly smile crept on his face, her diary. All her intimate thoughts in one place. He searched her room for anything else of interest, but found nothing. But that didn't matter, the diary would be enough . . but how to use it? . . .

The living room looked like a paper factory had exploded. Zak and Zoe had already got mountains of work, even though their return to uni had been short.

Elliot: Hello, im Elliot.

Elliot gave the impression that he was nervous about being on the phone, maybe because Kris had been ripping into his callers all day.

Kris: And what do you want my opinion on then Elliot?

Elliot: Well I a big believer of the theory that there's other forms of life in the universe, and . .

Kris: Oh brother . .Well Elliot do you mind if I ask you a personal question?

He got back to his room and sore Zoe's diary on his shelf, still pondering how he can use it . .
As soon as he'd said it, he got a brilliant, yet desperately horrid way to use it against his flatmates, with one particular flatmate in mind . . .
