After thinking about this for a long time, i've finally decided to go ahead and post.I've decided to use little 'flashbacks' at each part to let you all see what has happened in the last few years ect.

Anyway enough of me blabbing on lol, i'll post it in a second...

Jess' POV

Three years from the day we got married and me and Kris are just as happy as we were back then. You always hear of marriages that break down after a year or two but not us. We're as strong as ever.

After our wedding was out the way and we had our honeymoon, we agreed to move back to England to be closer to our families. We had talked about it before, and I was always tempted to return here so when Kris asked, I was only too happy to accept. We let Zoe and Zak in on our plans and they were already thinking about it because of her pregnancy. We all moved back together and our families helped us to get the place we wanted. We live next door to Zoe and Zak which was always going to be nice. I can't imagine going anywhere without them now. Of course they had their baby, a beautiful baby girl. Katy Ramsey, and she's just like Zoe. About a year after Katy was born Zak asked Zoe to marry him. I wasn't surprised by the news at all as I always sort of expected it and their wedding was nothing short of amazing. It just brought back memories of our wedding day and what followed.

Kris surprised me with a one week stay in Venice for our honeymoon and couldn't believe it.



Flashback.
---------------

"Beautiful." He whispers as we sit together on a Gondola going across the canal in Venice.

I'm sitting with my back pressed against his chest and his arms are wrapped comfortably around my waist, with his hands stroking my stomach.It seems like, since he's found out about our new baby he doesn't want to take his hands from there.

"It really is."
"I was talking about you." He laughs, kissing my neck. "But this place is pretty amazing too."
"What made you think of this place?"

"I looked up a few places and I did my research on this place, everything about it seemed perfect."
"So smarty pants, tell me something I don't know about Venice."
"Well, did you know that the nickname for Venice is- The City of Bridges?"
"Yes!" I giggle. "Everyone knows that."
"Liar!"
"I am not. I knew it."
"Fine. Well did you know that it's tradition for couples to kiss under every bridge for Eternal love?"
"Now who's lying!" I laugh. "You are making that up."
"I am not, look it's here."

He shows me in this little guide tour he had shoved in his back pocket. Right enough, it does state that while couples are taking a trip on the Gondola they must kiss under each bridge.

"Such rubbish." I reply.
"Oh come on, don't be so boring Jess. You just read it for yourself and as there is a bridge coming up.."
"Well maybe I don't feel like kissing you anymore."
"You what?"
"You heard."
"Oh moodswings. I suppose i'm going to have to put up with these for the next six-seven months?"
"Yes, you did promise to love me no matter what." I reply, a slight smile appearing on my face.
"And I will baby. We shouldn't really break this tradition though...I mean it is important after all."
"You don't give up do you?"
"No, of course not. I don't believe in giving up." He replies. "So am I getting this kiss or what?"

Knowing now that he's never going to shut up about this, I lean back and pull his lips to mine for a loving kiss.

"Happy now?" I ask, pulling back.
"Very. And guess what?"
"Go on, surprise me."
"According to this guide, there's another seven bridges to go under."

Thinking about the whole week even now makes me laugh. We had such a perfect time together, it was just us and we certainly made the most of it.Sometimes we'd stay in bed all day and only go out for a few hours at night and for a day, we didn't bother going out at all. Venice was a great place, but for the first few days I wasn't interested in what the place had to offer. All I was interested in was Kris and spending time with him in the comforts of our hotel room.

Kris's POV

Knowing it was three years ago on this day that Jess and I got married, I stop home on the way from work to pick up a few presents for her. Three years and it's went so fast, it only feels like last week I was a bag of nerves at the wedding. However, since then a lot has went on, It's been quite eventful for all of us.We have two new additions to the family in the shape of Katy who looks so much like Zoe it scares me, and of course our new baby boy. Jayden Joseph Fisher. He's already growing up so fast, along with Olivia. The two of them together are right little terrors, but I love them both dearly, as does Jess.

From the moment Jess told me the news I was so excited. I never got the chance to be involved when Olivia was being born, so this meant a lot to me. I was ready to play the protective father and husband.



Flashback.

Jess is six months pregnant and we've recently been told of the news that Zoe's just had a baby girl, we're really happy for them but now I can't wait for our little on to arrive.

"You haven't been sick again have you?"
"What do you think?" She sighs. "I was never this bad with Olivia."
"Aww, come on only two more months to go."
"Yes two more months of spending my mornings in the bathroom. I'm over the moon.."
"Sweetie, I think you'll find I still do the sarcasm around here." I grin and pull her onto the sofa. "Just relax.."
"I need to collect Olivia from my parents.."
"No, you don't. You ain't doing anything today. I'll pick her up later."
"Must say, I am loving this protective side of you.."
"Hey, i've always been protective. Especially with you.."
"Give me your hand a second." She says reaching out for it.
"What?"
"Baby is kicking again."

Taking my hand she slides it up her top and holds my hand firmly in place.

"Really giving you a tough time in there." I smile and kiss her forehead. "It's amazing."
"You say that everytime."
"Well some things just need to be said more than once."
"I feel so horrible!" She moans.
"Shut up, you look great."
"You're just saying that to make me feel better."
"No i'm not. You look amazing, you always do.Ok so you can't fit in to most of your clothes now..."
"Kris!" She shouts, slightly annoyed.
"I'm sorry. I maybe should realise that you still aren't ready to joke about this yet."
"While i'm like this i'm never going to be ready to joke about it..."
"Jess you need to stop stressing over this. You weren't like this before were you?"
"No." She replies. "But that's because you weren't around to see me like this..."
"Hey, is that what you're worried about? Look you're pregnant and this is what happens....but I love you..."
"I'm sorry, i'm just being stupid.."
"You don't say?" I laugh and hug her. "Now, i'm going to go to the shops to pick up some things then i'll get Olivia."
"You sure you don't want me to come with you?"
"Yes. I want you to lie here, relax and do nothing. I won't be long ok?"

Collecting a few things, I leave.

Pushing my key into the lock of the door, I enter our house. Calling out for anyone who is about. Taking off my jacket I hang it up by the door, and drop my bags as Olivia appears.

"Daddy you're home!" She runs into my arms.
"Hey, sweetie. Now where's Mummy and Jay?"
"Jay-Jay is asleep and Mummy is in the kitchen.."
"Ok, well why don't you watch one of your cartoons while I see Mummy eh?"

Placing her down on the sofa, I flick on the tv and she seems happy enough sitting there for the next few minutes. Walking into the kitchen, I see Jess with her back to me so I sneak up and place my arms around her.

"Kris, you scared me!"
"Sorry princess."
"Why are you late anyway, you should have been home an hour ago."
"I went to collect a few things.." I say pulling away from her to collect the bags. "You do know what day it is?"
"Er...Tuesday."
"Ha, very funny. Jess don't tell me you've forgot..."
"What do you take me for? Of course I haven't forgot." Spinning around, she kisses me. "Three years now."
"Hmm, so what we doing tonight to celebrate?"
"Zak and Zoe are taking Olivia and Jayden for a few hours, leaving us alone for a while."
"A few hours?"
"Yes that is ok ain't it?" She asks, a little unsure.
"Yeah, i'm just thinking about what I could do with you for a few hours."
"Well not now.." She slaps my wandering hands away. "Olivia's next door and Jay is asleep.So you'll have to wait!"
"Tease!"

I laugh and then join Olivia in the front room for a while.

Kris is just the sweetest, he really is, the way he was with Jess when she was pregnant with Jayden (gorgeous name btw ) was lovely to read, i'm so glad he was a part of it all this time around
I loved the way he said about their life now at the beginning of the 2nd part and how he says about Olivia and Jayden being little terrors and how Katy looks so much like Zoe that it scares him and of course when he says how he knew he was ready to be the protective father and husband.....perfect
So pleased they celebrated their 3 yr anniversary

Jess' POV

"Zo are you sure about this?" I ask seeing her out. "Olivia and Jayden can be quite a handful as it is."
"Hey, stop worrying. You and Kris need to spend some quality time together tonight, and we offered."
"Well a few hours, that's all..."
"Take as long as you want, we'll be fine I promise. It's not as if we're miles away, we're next door!"
"I know." I grin.
"Well what you doing out here? Get yourself inside to that husband of yours!"

Thanking her once more, I enter the house again, closing the door behind me.Kris has been upstairs for the last hour and a bit, god knows what he's doing up there but it gives me a chance to finish the cooking. Kris suggested going out tonight, but we did that last year and this year I wanted it to be a bit more special. There's a limit to the amount of things you can get up to in a posh restruant, but when we're at home then it's just going to be us. After another half hour, I decide to go up and check on him. He's been up there for hours now.

"What are you doing?"
"Making myself look good, what does it look like? He smiles.
"But we're staying in tonight."
"I know, but it doesn't hurt to make the effort does it? Anyway, it's a special occasion.Olivia and Jayden away?"
"Zoe's took them over half an hour ago, so we're running out of time here!"
"Oh I am sorry..." He walks over and kisses me passionately. "...Better make the most of it then."
"What? I've been cooking all day and i'll be damned if we don't eat tonight Kris Fisher!"
"We can eat later?"
"No way!" I laugh and kiss him back. "This can wait for later."
"Have I ever told you that you are such a tease?"
"Er yes..." I laugh dragging him downstairs. "You told me about an hour ago."

Leaving him at the table, I turn my attention back to the cooking and smile to myself at how perfect things are right now. I start to let my mind drift off to earlier times.


Flashback
------------

Me, Kris and Olivia are next door seeing how Zoe is doing with Katy. She's only a few weeks old but I can already tell she's going to be a little stunner. At the moment Kris, Zak and Olivia are outside in the back garden leaving me and Zoe with Katy.

"Zoe she's beautiful, she really is."
"I still can't believe it..."
"That's how I was with Olivia." I laugh.
"You must be so excited about this new baby. Kris said you didn't want to know the sex.."
"No, I want it to be a surprise.He's been amazing you know? So protective and caring, I can tell he's nervous though."
"Kris?" She smiles. "Nervous about what? He's already a perfect Dad to Olivia, he's great with her..."
"I just mean the whole birth, this is his first time so he's bound to be a little shakey."
"He'll be fine. Zak was the same, he actually passed out..."
"Oh my god, you're kidding?" I laugh with her.
"Nope, one minute we could see him the next...he was on the floor."
"Well I hope Kris doesn't go like that.."
"He won't." She replies.

"Oh he'll make jokes about it, I can see him now and as you'll know now the last thing you want to be doing in that situation is laughing at some bad jokes!"

"To be fair, Kris is good on the humour side of things."
"Yeah well there's a time and a place for that, and it's not when i'm in labour believe me."
"Well I think it'll be fun either way." She grins. "You want to hold her?"
"Oh, would you mind?"
"Of course not. You're Auntie Jess now..."

Smiling she hands Katy over and goes to the Bathroom, and after a few minutes Kris comes over and sits next to me. Resting his head on my shoulder gently.

"She's beautiful.." He whispers, letting her hold onto his finger.
"She likes you already."
"Well what's not to like? Seriously can't wait for our turn you know?"
"Me too."
"You are feeling ok aren't you?" He asks, putting his hand across my stomach.
"Yeah, fine."
"Good, well tell me if you start to feel..."
"Kris, i'm fine." I smile and kiss his cheek. "Stop worrying."

It's an hour later and since then we've eaten, but Kris surprisingly pours more wine and agrees to sit at the table for a while longer. After a few minutes, he slips his hand into mine and we tangle our fingers together.He's since then presented me with my favourite flowers and a beautiful bracelet which i've already got on. To think this was the man I couldn't stand to be around at college, and now I can't stay away from is crazy.

Now he's just staring at me across the table, with a grin on his face but he looks deep in thought.

"What?" I laugh nervously.
"You." He pauses.. "You're incredible."
"What are you after?"
"Nothing." He adds, with a grin. "I'm allowed to pay compliments now and again, aren't I?"
"Hmm, well sometimes you worry me I must say."
"Thanks, Jess!"
"No, I don't mean like that.It's just strange seeing this side of you....even after all this time, I still expect to be called ice ma.."
"Well that can be arranged, Princess." He says, laughing as I shoot him a look.
"Don't even think about it."
"I wouldn't dare." Standing from the table he pulls me with him and kisses me gently. "Upstairs?"
"What about all..." I stop and nudge him playfully. "And is that all you think about?"
"Only with you."
"Well flattery won't get you anywhere you know?"
"Stop playing games!" He smirks, scooping me up into his arms. "It's not nice."
"Kris put me down now! I mean it, I don't trust you going up they stairs..."
"Flammin heck, I won't drop you!"

He climbs the stairs with me anyway, and he manages it despite me making it hard for him with the giggles. Gently kicking our bedroom door open with his foot we get inside and straight away I kiss him. Of course this makes it hard for him to get over to the bed, and after nearly dropping me he finally manages it. We don't part from each other once, and I carefully pull him on top of me as we allow passion to take over.
