Warren had been freed from court just in time to watch Heartbeat. Justin, Katy, and Louise all came home with him in order to celebrate his release.
'I'm glad you're free' Justin said quietly. Him and Warren had had their troubles in the past but Justin vowed that they would never fight again. Louise opened a bottle of champagne.
'Yay, justice has won!' she squealed.
'Shush, i'm watching Heartbeat!' Warren shouted. Katy frowned.
'But surely your release is more important than some boring old fashioned soap!' she argued. Warren froze. 'Get out,' he said coldly. 'GET OUT!'. Louise and Katy left the room. Justin stayed.
'Warren, listen, I know you too well to know that you're not just upset by Heartbeat. No rural soap could make you that upset. What's up?' Justin asked and patted Warren on the back. Warren smiled slightly.
'I'll tell you in the break.' Eventually the break came. Warren started crying.
'I just don't know what's wrong. For the past few weeks you keep blanking me, kid. Am I that mean?' he asked. Justin sighed.
'You're upset. Is this a Mr Snuggles moment?' Justin asked. Warren nodded and Justin went off to bring the big bear down.
'Better?' Justin asked. Warren sniffled a bit on Mr Snuggles.
'I think so, kid. You ain't half-bad. Will you get me a drink from Il Gnosho?' he asked tearfully.
'Decaff frappacappamochalatte with crushed ice crushed by Tony?' Justin asked. As if he didn't know Warren's favourite drink!
'How do you know, kid?' Warren asked, puzzled. Justin smiled and went off to get the drink. Warren smiled fondly at his friend. 'Burying bodies really helps bring people together' he said to himself as Louise came in and he turned over to a cookery programme.
'Ooh, fish gutting!' he said gleefully. No one except Justin could ever know that Warren had a soft side. He hid Mr Snuggles behind a cushion.
'Sorry,kid' he said to the squashed bear.

Louise sat by him. 'I'm sorry about Katy's outburst' she said comfortingly. Warren put on a brave face. 'It doesn't matter. I don't really like Heartbeat anyway' Warren replied. How it killed him to say it!
'Why are you friends with Justin? He killed Becca!' Louise finally burst.
'Hey, I killed Sean- who cares? Everybody's killing each other these days.' warren commented shrewdly.
'WHAT?' screamed Louise sobbing uncontrollably.
'Whoops' said Warren.
