Part One

He Found Me. This is all my fault. At least he was gone now. But so was Jordan. Poor Guy, I'd practically just said Hi to the guy and he took a bullet for me. The other students don't have a clue. There at the dog me and Jordan were on our way out there when he arrived. Tears where in my eyes as i saw them lift the two black body bags. I felt a rush of relief as well as terrible guilt. I heard people coming. I don't want to have to explain. I can't talk about what he did to me. Kris was first to stagger through the door, he stopped with a confused drunken look as he looked at the body bags being carted through the door. He looked at me. I couldn't think of any thing to say. 'Is that ...' he stopped 'Is that J..J..Jordan' another face came round the door it was Courtney 'Is what j....' suddenly she stopped and broke down at the side of one of the body bags. They had been together 2 years. Both thought they were made for each other. Another Persons life i've wrecked. The rest of the stundents all swung round the door laughing and chatting. Silence. All we could here was Courtney sobbing. None of them had asked what happened. I was slightly glad. Then Zak spoke up. 'How did this happen?'

Part 3

After i had explained everyone had went to bed. Nikki and Michelle stayed with courtney all night even when she had eventually cried herself to sleep. I couldn't sleep. I just kept replaying things over and over in my head . I was sitting in the kitchen staring at the spot where i had stood yesterday with a gun pointed straight at me as i thought about how Jordan's family must feel. I must have sat there for over an hour. thinking. I had drank to cups of coffee there was no way i would get to sleep now. I boiled the kettle again this time just for the noise. I hated silence. I drifted back into my thoughts thinking this would something i would never forget. A creak. Suddenly i sat up. Alert

...: Everything will be ok you know
I voice came from down the hall
I was dark i couldn't see who it was. Kris. He walked over to me.

L: Sorry ... did i wake you up?
K: Well Yeah when you boiled the kettle for the one hundreath time

I smiled.

K: Finally, thats the first time i saw you smile.
L: Wells theres nothing to smile about is there
K: The man who has been harrassing you for the past few years is gone .. for good.
L: But so is Jordan

Kris Sighed. I suddenly change the subject.

L: Do you want any coffeee
K: No and don't you think you've had enough
L: Hm Yeah

I walked over and slumped down on the couch. Kris Followed.

L: This was the last place he sat
K: Try not to think about that, think about the good things
L: I don't any, I only met him yesterday

For the next hour we went on talking about good things that had happened to Jordan. Like last Aprils Fool Day when Courtney told him she was pregnant. Kris says his face was hillarious, he even did impressions. Kris had made me laugh. Felt like the first time i'd had fun in ages. We decided to put on a dvd, The devil wears prada - Kris's favourite film - and i eventually began to drift off to sleep

L: Kris stop it (I muttered still half asleep)
.: It Zoe

I opened my eyes. Suddenly.

Z: Looks like you had a good night

She was looking down around my waist where kris's arms were wrapped around me.I immediatly changed the subject as i didn't know how that happened either.

L: What time is it?
Z: About 3 i think
L: No .....

I got up quickly. Pulling Kris's arms off me.

Z: What is it?
L: I missed my first lecture and im half way through my second
Z: Oh Sorry i would've woke you earlier but i didn't know we didn't really get to talk last night, I don't think they would mind you skipping after what happened last night, No one else has been to lectures.
L: Where are they all?
Z: Oh, em they took Courtney to the dog to try and cheer her up
L: Oh .. Right. Im going to go for a shower and try and make the last 5 minutes of my lecture.

She laughed. As i walked along to my room i could here Zoe trying to wake kris up.

Z: Wakey Wakey
K: I had a great time last night Lorna (he said with his eyes still shut)
Z: Its Zoe

I stopped and stood just inside the door frame to see what they were saying.

K: Oh
Z: What did you to do last night?
K: Nothing Just talked

She Smiled

Z: Then why were your arms wrapped around her then
K: Huh? (He looked confused)
Z: When i came over to wake you both up your arms were around her
K: I didn't know
Z: Yeah Sure (she said sarcastically) Do you like her she asked?
K: Yeah, Shes cool. Do you like her?
Z: Yeah shes really nice, its a shame, No one will talk to her after what happened last night and i wasn't meaning as a friend.

Kris stood up and Smiled at Zoe and then walked down towards his room. He had just made me smile again this time without even realising.
