With full plates of food gathered all over the room , you’d pretty much think that it was Kris’s room but no .. it was Jess’s! Since finding out about her parents divorce so suddenly and then only a few short weeks after this she heard the tragic news that both her parents had been in a horrific crash coming up to see Jess in uni food was the very last thing on her mind. Sorting out the funerals with the directors , contacting all family and friends , sorting out the finances and the business and with her studies on top of all that she would find herself staying awake all night surviving on about 5 cups of coffee a night was the only thing keeping her going. Whilst doing all this all she could think of what that she thought it was her fault… if she hadn’t asked them to come visit because she had news for them they wouldn’t have been on the roads on that day and then maybe they would still be alive. Then all of a sudden she thought : oh my god they didn’t know what I desperately had to tell him whether they would be mad or not. Now they would never know. She began to well up but these thoughts were soon threw to the back of her head .. she wasn’t going to think of a child when so much was resting on her shoulders. There were more important things.
There was a knock at the door
Zoe: Hey jess can I come in?
Jess quickly put all the food in the bin bag and ties it up so she doesn’t notice. She couldn’t deal with the fuss zoe would make if she thought she couldn’t cope with it all but I can cope but food isn’t my number one priority she thought to herself.
Jess: Sure zo whats up?
Zoe: Are you sure your ok ? Do you need any help coz u must be a lil bit stressed with all the stuff goin on?
Jess’s eyes started to fill up with tears til she suddenly burst into tears.Zoe was right: one minute she was a daddy’s princess having everything she ever wanted without having to think of where the money would come from and now she had to take care of absolutely everything. Her and kris had got things back on track after the whole malachy thing and were going out but things took there toll on their relationship but she understood kris couldn’t have handled it, it reminded him too much about how he didn’t have a family anymore coz they could never accept him so they called it a day for a while staying as friends. At one point she even thought of leaving uni but she knew her parents wouldn’t want that for her , they would want her to give herself the best chance at life.
Jess: Im ok its just that I get upset thinking about it. Everythings not how it should be – my parents should be here not lying in a morgue til the funeral and me and kris should still be friends but now we cant even be in the same room without arguing.
It all proved to much for her and she burst out crying as zoe gave her a shoulder to cry on.
Zoe gave jess a long hug as she crys for the next hour til she fell asleep. Zoe then leaves her to rest. It should be kris comforting her not me. She walked in the living area.
Zak: How is she zo?
Zoe: Not so good.. I think shes really taking it hard her whole worlds turned round. Kris why don’t you go talk to her.
Kris: Why should I go talk to the ice maiden?? I cant even being in the same room as her since she ended its like she doesn’t want me for anything anymore all we do is argue.
Zoe gets totally angry
Zoe: LOOK KRIS YOU KNOW WHY SHE ENDED IT!! SHE WANTED IT TO COOL IT DOWN COZ SHE THOUGHT IT WOULD UPSET YOU AFTER EVERYTHIN YOU WENT THROUGH YOUR FAMILY ..COME ON SHE SUPPORTED YOU THROUGH YOUR TROUBLES WITH YOUR FAMILY AND ..
Kris interrupts her
Kris: look not right now I don’t know what to say and she probably wouldn’t want to see me anyway .
He carried on reading his magazine as if nothing major had happened. Zoe went back to her room to check on her best friend. She noticed that Jess still had the picture of kris and jess when they were together. She picked it up to look at it closer and got quite a surprise ….

Fixed my problem so heres the next chapter its a bit long so tomorrow it will prob be the afternoon when the next chapter is put up but since im watchin my baby bro all day tomorrow there may b lots of chapters you never know xx
Chapter 2
Zoe: I cant believe it…why didn’t she tell me?
Zoe read the letter:
Dear Miss Harris,
Thank you for making an appointment with us , just reminding you that your appointment is tomorrow at 5:30pm and try to be prompt. We understand your situation so before we go through with the procedure we would like to have another chat with you to make sure its what your really want as once its done theres no going back so we would ask that you arrive beforehand so we can talk it all over with you again.

Zoe was nearly in tears at the thought of her friend going through such a thing all on her own. Why didn’t she tell me? I know shes going through stuff but this is something she shouldn’t do on her own. Jess’s eyes shot open and she sat up quickly and took the letter off zoe.
Jess: WHAT ARE YOU DOING GOING THROUGH MY STUFF!! GET OUT!!
Jess was shocked that someone else knew about it even if it was zoe.. she was supposed to get it over and done with then she get back on top of things without the complication of a pregnancy. However she straight away regretted kicking her best friend out , shed been there for here throughout everything when no one else couldn’t be bothered or wouldn’t.
Jess: I’m sorry come in zoe
Zoe: Why didn’t you tell me?
Jess: I wasn’t going to tell anyone , its going to be over and done with tomorrow and no one will have to think any different , zo ive got a future to think of and at the minute ive got to much on my mind to be thinking about this thing in my stomach. Don’t say anything to Kris plz
Zoe: Oh my god you haven’t told him! Why not? Its his baby to?
Jess: Me and him spoke about our futures ages ago remember when me you zac and kris were in the living area. You said you wanted to be a producer and have a family later on , zak wanted to go back to Liverpool and be a football coach and would only have kids with the right woman after marriage. Do you remember what kris sed (quotes him) “kids get in the way of everything what would make someone want them?” What makes you think that me being pregnant would change his mind??
Zoe: YOU NEED TO TELL KRIS JESS ITS NOT JUST YOU YOU’VE GOT TO THINK ABOUT. EVEN IF HE MAY NOT WANT IT YOU STILL HAVE TO TELL HIM SO U CAN MAKE THE DECISION TOGETHER ((she calms down a little)) look im sorry but you didn’t make this baby on your own so its not just your decision to make.
Kris is walking to his bedroom when he hears his name and walks in on their heated argument. He looks confused , why would they be arguing over him?? Hmm well ill have to find out he thought.
Kris: Tell me what??
Jess couldn’t even look him in the eye because her eyes were filled with tears and she didn’t want him to guess anything. He sees her crying though.
Kris: Aww poor ice maidens crying oh I wonder what for now? Got no more money ? Lost one of your designer handbags? Cry me a river Jess come back to the real world.
He stormed out the room. He knew all about her parents and stuff so he instantly felt remorse. He turned to go apologise but pride got the better of him and he headed straight for his room and slammed the door.
Jess was crying hysterically and zoe was fuming but comforted her friend.
Jess: This is why I cant tell him zo hes going to think im such an idiot. Kris cant even be nice to me for two seconds without thinking im just acting like a spoilt brat. I still love him but we cant find our way through all the arguments and fights and if I told Kris about this I think itd push him over the edge hes already mad at me for no reason at all telling him im pregnant will make him think im some sort of trapper. Zoe please don’t tell him plz im begging.
Zoe: okay I wont is it definitely Kris’s?
Jess: Yes I only slept with malachy last week and the doctor said im about 5 weeks gone which was valentines day so its kris’s.
Zoe: Okay but im coming with you okay you cant do this all one your own. You need someone there for you even if its not the babys dad.
Jess: Wipes her tears away. Aww thanks zo. You’re a true best friend. Well I suppose you know where and when it is since you read the letter (she laughs) are you sure u can come coz uve got lectures tomorrow don’t you.
Zoe: Taking the day off wont hurt im all caught up with everything anyway , well just tell the guys were going out for the day , its not like they’ll expect a thing coz kris will be in work and zack will probably be watching football on the tv. She gives Jess a hug.
Jess: Thanks zo.
Meanwhile , Kris was sat on his bed with his back and head against the wall wondering how to apologise to jess and what was wrong with her. He still loved her but he knew she needed time to get things together. Why did his ego always have to get in the way of him apologising I mean , jess always came and apologised when she was wrong so why couldn’t he do the same? He went to sleep and decided that the next morning he would just give her a hug and a kiss , no words involved , and hopefully that would break the ice between them both.

my dad went bed ages ago and told me to be of the computer by 12 - but im wide awake so ill just turn the light off so he'll think im in bed if he wakes up lol x

i dont know whether to let him find out about it after she gets it done or before tho so ill leave the next chapter til tomorrow morning when ill hopefully have more opinions to help me make my mind up but im gonna put both endings to chapter 3 in it n which eva one gets more opinions to whether he should or shouldnt find out will be in the next chapter what dya think x
