When Dave's wife, Julie was sent to prison for trying to kill her lover he decided that it would be best for him and his kids to move, a fresh start. He has 4 kids, Melissa who is 19, Nicole who is 17 and twins Danny and Jack who are 16. When he told them they where moving Melissa and Nicole werent happy as they were worried about there exams. After Melissa and Nicole ahd left Rhys was bragging to Darren that he was going on a date with Melissa, which hurt Gilly as he wanted to ask her out, but once again Rhys got the girl
Waking up to the sound of the alarm, Dave frowned as he knew today wasnt going to be easy, it was the Twins and Nicoles first day at Hollyoaks High. First he woke twins, as he knew they would take the longest to get up, he then walked down the hall to Nicole's room to wake her. As they twins fought over the bathroom he went downstairs to make breakfast for everyone.
After breakfast Nicole and the Twins set off for school. Nicole's first class was English, she hated English at her old school mainly because she disliked the teacher, she thought maybe it would be different at this school.

As the day went on Nicole was glad John Paul had stuck up for as she really got on with everyone and was glad she had made friends, maybe Hollyoaks wasnt going to be as bad as she thought.
They day been similar for Jack and Danny, the had made friends to with Fletch, Josh, Amy, Michaels and Sasha.
Melissa was even thinking Hollyoaks wasnt that bad she had went in to Evissa to see if they had any jobs going and Louise asked her to help out today and she would let her know at the end of the day.
At home the family where sitting down to dinner when Melissa burst in and screamed that she had just got a new job.
Things were going great for the family, but would it last?

Later that night Melissa was getting ready for her date with Rhys, she was nervous, not because she liked him but because she didnt really want to go, she'd rather have went out with Gilly. She knew Rhys only asked her out because he likes to think of him self as a ladies man, he thought all the girls wanted to be with him, maybe some girls would love to be in her position, but not her, she wanted to be with someone like Gilly who would care for her not someone who would use her like Rhys would.
As Melissa made her way to the Dog she bumped into Gilly,
