they were in bed together, and this time was theirs only. no-one could disturb them. no-one could ever know. it would be so weird - the person she hated the most at one point, who had caused her months and months of pain, she was in the same bed with, kissing and caressing. and this wasn't the first time, either.
justin: this isn't right.
nancy: what isn't?
justin: i'm still with katy, no matter what.
nancy: okay.
justin: sorry. i'm torn between you and katy.
nancy: you're going to have to make a choice.
justin: can i think about it?
nancy: okay.
justin left the flat, and went back to the halls. he went into katy's room to find a sinister shock:
katy: justin. i'm so sorry.
zak: justin. she'd told me you two had broken up.
katy: look - justin - i just don't feel anything for you anymore. you've been so distant since the whole thing with charlie.
justin: and...does that mean that i can't be involved with you?
katy: i'm not saying that. i'm saying that i can hardly do anything with you anymore.
justin walked off and, before he knew what he was doing, he was heading to a different place. somewhere which was going to haunt him. but something dragged him there by his ear. and he knocked on the door, and there she stood. nancy. he bent his head and kissed her...

it was all they had wanted since the first time - they hadn't realised it before.
a while later, they were laying there in her bed. he was kissing her and all worries about charlie and jake and katy and zak had just evaporated with each kiss. but then, the door opened, and the bedroom door opened and they could see russ.
russ: nancy. what's going on?
nancy: i'm sorry russ. but justin understands me more than you do.
russ dragged justin out of the bed and kept punching him. nancy got out of bed and dragged justin away from russ and kicked him in the b***s. russ winced in pain and struggled out of the flat. justin was a mess, with a bloody nose and a black eye. nancy cleaned him up.
justin: nancy. i can't take my eyes off you.
nancy smiled and kissed him deeply.
