Some Hours Later Kris had explained to the others about what had happened to him last night. They were all angry about it just like me. But Kris just wanted to forget about it. I understand why he didn’t want to make a fuss but Justin and Sonny needed to pay for what they did. I wasn’t going to let them get away with it. Nobody can hurt Kris like that. I saw the hurt in his eyes when he was explaining to the others about it. That was what got to me; I couldn’t bear to see him hurt. I noticed that he had taken my advice and wore his usual clothes and not his men’s clothes. I was happy that he had listened and that he wasn’t going to let them win.
After I had eaten my breakfast which wasn’t that bad for Zoe as she is usually an awful cook. I went to lectures. But now I had finished for the day and I wanted and needed a drink. I was sitting on the sofa reading my magazine. God some of these celebs are just shameless. Some of these celebrities in this mag are dead back in 2031. I looked up from magazine and saw Zak walk in to the room.
Maybe he will come with me for a drink. Even if he says no I will just drag him there anyway.
Jess: Hey Zak. Do you wanna come for a drink with me?
Zak: Yeah why not. Are you paying then?
Jess: Shouldn’t the man pay Zak?
Zak: That’s only on dates, in real life the richest one pays and that’s you!!
Jess: Uhh, alright. Let me just get my jacket and MY purse.

Zak opened the door for me and I walked through.
Jess: Thanks, You go sit down and I’ll get the drink in.
Zak: Don’t sound to pleased Jess.

I got my white wine and Zak’s pint. When I thought about it, it wasn’t my money I was spending it was my fathers. I placed his drink down on the table and sat down.
Zak: Have you seen this?
He was holding up a poster advertising a Halloween party in here.
Jess: You’re not supposed to take the posters off the walls Zak.
Zak: Sorry Miss Harris. Are you up for it then?
Jess: Yeah why not. I’ll ask the others about it too. Kris probably already knows.
I loved Halloween when I was a kid; I’ve always liked dressing up.
Zak: Talking about Kris, Do you think he is okay?
Jess: I don’t know I stayed up last night with him and spoke to him about. He seems to be handling it.
Zak: You spoke to Kris that must be a breakthrough.
Jess: I know.
At least someone thought the same as me.
Zak: So did you hear about Zoe and Will.
Oh no. Poor Zak, I could tell by the way he said it that he wasn’t happy about it.
Jess: Yeah she told me but I don’t think it’s anything serious, their just going to see where it goes. I can’t see it working out though; I don’t think Will is the right one for Zo.
Zak: You think?
Jess: He’s too smart and boring for Zoe.
Zak: Well opposite attracts.
Jess: How cheesy is that Zak.
I couldn’t help but laugh at the line Zak had just come out with.
