They should become best mates and they both find new partners.

What should happen with the whole Kris and Jess thing?

Kris and Jess get together and Malarty goes away
Kris and Jess get together but she gets pregnant and doesn't know who the dad is.
Kris moves away and Jess goes after him.
Kris gets together with some bloke to make Jess jelouse.
