This is Nialls story, from the very beggining. It all started 27 years ago...
"Don't go!" He reached out a hand, grabbing hers. "I have to." "No, stay. It's much more fun." The pretty, dark haired girl laughed. "I want to." "Then do!" He pulled her towards him, kissing her hands. She laughed again, but gently pulled away from him. "I have to go." She repeated. "Myra!" She turned back to him in the doorway and blew him a kiss. "Myra, wait!" Either she didn't hear him or she pretended not to, for she continued out of the door. The boy slumped back on his bed, feeling for the box under his pillow. He had to give it to her.
Myra carefully shut the door behind her, desperatly trying to make as little noise as possible. She left her shoes by the door and quietly crept up the stairs. "I suppose there's no point in asking where you've been." Myra froze. "That boy again." Her mothers voice was full of distaste. "And so what if I have?" The words came out with more force than she'd intended. "He's no good for you." "He loves me. And I love him." "Love!" She laughed. "You're fourteen years old, what do you know of love?!" Myra tried to stay silent, but she couldn't help herself from defending him. "I don't know why you hate him so much, he's never done anything wrong!" Only silence greeted her words. Myra continued up the stairs. "You can say that now," Her mother called after her. "When everything's easy. But one day you'll need him, and he won't be there. Then you'll see."
aw, no-one commented I'll do some more anyway, hopefully someone will comment then!
Myra awoke to the sound of something hard hitting glass. She jumped out of bed and ran to the window. "Myra!" A voice came from below. He heart skipped a beat. "Myra, wake up!" "I'm awake!" She whispered back. "Stay there, I'm coming down!" Carefully slipping her bare feet into a pair of shoes and wrappinga cardigan around her shoulders, she silenlty snuck out the front door. He kissed her warmly and passionatly, pressing his body on to hers. Reluctantly, she drew herself away. "What are you doing here?" She asked, her voice sounding so loud in the dark silence of the night. "I came to see you." He said simply. "What time is it?" "Half twelve." She could have laughed out loud at the stupidity of the situation. Standing outside in the freezing cold wearing nothing but a cardigan and nightie, at past midnight. "Happy Valentines day." He whispered to her, holding out a carefully wrapped package. She looked up at him in surprise. "For me?" "I meant to give it to you earlier, but I forgot. Here, open it." Myra reached out a trembling hand to take it. She slowly pulled at the ribbons and tissue paper, revealing a small box beneath. She looked at him again, her eyes shining bright with expectation. He smiled and motioned her to carry on. Her heart beat so loud she was sure her mother would hear it. The box opened. "It's beautiful!" She gasped. It was a necklace. A silver chain with a simple heart locket glinted up at her in the moonlight. He leaned forwards and kissed her again. "Come with me Myra." He whispered. "Come home with me." Their heads were so close she could feel his words vibrate through her. "I can't." She said, although her soul screamed at her to say yes. "We're too young..." He took her hand and placed it on his chest. She could feel his warm heart beat, faster and faster. "Do you want to?" He asked her, his simple question reverberating in her heart. She flicked open the locket and read the words engraved there. To Myra, my love, forever, Niall The answer was simple.
Myra slowly opened her eyes. Nothing was how it should be. Panic rose inside her. Where am I? What happened? Where's all my stuff? Slowly, the events of the previous night came back to her. She looked beside her, and saw Niall curled up fast asleep. She smiled to herself. Last night had been the best night of her life. "Myra?" Niall asked sleepily. Their eyes met and they smiled. "That was..." Myra understood. There were no words to describe what it was, just feelings. She caught sight oof a clock beside her. She swore. "What is it?" She was scrambling out of his bed, hurriedly pulling her clothes off the floor. "I've got to go. Mum's gonna kill me!" She tugged her jumper over her head and straightened up. "Wait, you forgot this!" He held up the beautiful locket he'd given her last night. She grinned and leant towards him so he could fasten it round her neck. "Please stay, Myra." "I can't." She was already at the door. "I love you!" She called back to him. He settled back in bed. "I love you to, Myra." He whispered, more to himself than to her. "I love you to.
Warm tears flowed down Myra's cheeks. She looked up at the door and window of her bedroom, the silver padlocks glinting at her, as if teasing her. "It's for the best, Myra." Her mother had said. "One day you'll thank me for it, unless it's already too late..." Too late for what? "You can't do that!" She had screamed back. "I can and I will." "It's not fair!" She screamed again as the key turned in the lock behind her. She was completely alone, in solitary confinment in her own bedroom. What would Niall think if she coudln't speak to him, couldn't see him again? What would she do? "IT'S NOT FAIR!!!" She yelled at the top of her voice, hurling her bedside lamp at the door. It bounced off the frame and hit the floor, exploding into millions of tiny pieces that shone and sparkled in the light as they soared through the air. There was no reaction from her mother. Myra threw herself back on her bed, and sobbed into the pillow. She clutched the locket in her hand, so tight she felt it would explode in her palm, like the lamp. He does love me! She told herself. He does.
Myra stood outside the school gates, her eyes desperatly searching the roads. She had been excluded from school for two weeks for her "Behavioural problems and continuing abscences" as the headteacher had phrased it. She had spent those long days locked in her room, staring at her locket and dreaming of Niall. With no way to cantact the outside world she had no way to tell him what had happenned. Did he think she'd just gone off him? After what they had done? After what they had said to each other? She felt her eyes filling up, and she quickly wiped them on her sleeve. He couldn't have forgotten her so quickly, he just didn't know to come here. "Sophie!" She called out to her friend. "Can I borrow your mobile?" "Where's yours?" "Confiscated by my mum. Please, I'll be really quick." "Sure." She held it out to her. Myra quickly dialled the number. She knew it off by heart. She held the ringing phone to her ear, her heart pounding in her chest. She had no idea why she was so scared. It was Niall. He loved her. "Hello?" "HI, it's Myra." "What?" "Who is it, baby?" She heard a girls voice ask in the back ground. "Don't know." "Just hurry up and get back to bed." There was laughter. "Sorry, who did you say you were?" "It doesn't matter." Myra ended the call and lowered the phone with a shaking hand. She handed it back to Sophie and ran away, ignoring her shouts. Her eyes filled with tears again, and this time she didn't stop them from falling.
To Myra, my love, forever, Niall ...to Myra... ...love... ...forever... The words swam in front of her eyes, taunting her with their lost meanings. Forever had come and gone far too soon. She squeezed her eyelids tight together in an attempt to stop the flood of tears. She couldn't believe he had got over so quickly. Had he got bored? Had he thought she was ignoring him? Or had he just stopped loving her. She tugged the locket hard, snapping the silver chain around her neck. Drawing back her arm, she chucked as hard as she could. She simply sat and watched it glint in the sunlight as it spiralled through the air and away from her. Far, far away. Her mother was right. She knew nothing of love. Not now. And perhaps she never had.
Myra dragged herself to her feet. She had to face home sometime, she might aswell get it over with.
"And where have you been?" "Nowhere." She mumbled, staring at her feet. Her mother folded her arms. "You've been with that boy again." Myra rolled her eyes. "You have! I told you he's no good for you!" "I wasn't with him." Myra stared coldly at her. "I wasn't with him, and I never will be. Not again." She turned, and walked towards her bedroom. "I knew you'd come to your senses some time!" Her mum called after her.
Myra sat on her bed, staring numbly at the wall. She couldn't believe it was over, just like that. No word, no phone call, not even an insensitive text to tell her he had met someone else. It was over. All over. She slid her hand into her pocket, fingering the cold metal inside. As she had walked home, she had seen it glinting on the pavement. She clutched it tight in her hand, gritting her teeth. She wouldn't cry.
I just read this from the beginning. I like this story! More soon?

Myra fought to pull the zip of her jeans up. She looked nervously down at her rapidly swelling stomach. She couldn't be pregnant. She was getting fat, that was all. Comfort eating. She wasn't happy without Niall. She couldn't be pregnant. Could she?
Niall stared at the phone in the hands. Should he call her? Surely she would have called him if she still wanted him. It had been weeks since that night. That wonderful night. He had phoned a few times, and even come to her house twice, but the curtains of her room were drawn, her mobile off and her mother took great pleasure in telling him she was with someone called Jack, whoever Jack was. Maybe this was her way of dumping him, this long agonising silence. Maybe he hadn't been good enough for her. The front door slammed. It was his brother, with Emily, a bouncy giggly blonde who always called him baby and thought he was his brother everytime he answered the phone. Well, they did sound the same. Even Myra used to get them mixed up sometimes.
No no no no no!!! Myra got them mixed up!!! Hope she realises!

Waiting for anything is horrible. But waiting for something that could change your life is worse, much worse. To Myra, waiting for the news that could ruin her future, blow apart any plans she had, was torture. She stared at the small strip of plastic in her hands. It was hard to believe something so small and insignificant could wreck so many years of her life. But it could do all that, and more. If it was positive. Please don't be positive...
Myra's mother stood outside her daughters bedroom, wondering whether or not to knock. She had done everything wrong with Myra, and she knew it. When she had held the tiny baby in her arms, she had promised to love and care for her in the way that her own parents never had. But she hadn't. She had seen in Myra the girl she had once been. Fun, free and fiercly independant. All she wanted was to get on and live her own life. But fourteen years ago she had ruined her life, and she could see that Myra was going exactly the same way...
