This is like a totally naff-o piece of writing, but i didn't really know how to carry on from my last post and this piece of appalling jumbled up paragraph of words is the result!


Lottie clung tightly to Jess as Jess made her way down the stairs sighing a little as she went. Together they went back into the lounge where everyone was now watching the telly. Jess put Lottie on the floor and beckoned to Lois. Lois stood up, stretched obscuring most people’s view. She was greeted with moans and the occasional flying cushion, but Lois being Lois promptly stuck out her tongue and left the room, arm in arm with Jess. The kids grinned as she left and even Ashton was smiling.

“Millie’s asleep in Cady’s old room”, Jess told Lois, “And Sam has gone to bed already”. Jess checked her watch. “And I think it’s time some of the kids went to bed, the little ones especially”

Lois nodded, then spontaneously pulled Jess in for a hug. Jess anticipated pulling away, but at the end of the day, a hug was what she needed most right then.

Not naff at all Jade, stop letting your fingers do the talking lol
It was brilliant and I think Jess hug should have been from a certain someone else such as someone with an irish accent

Well I said I hadn't done all of my history because my tech coursework is in this week and I need to get that done so he just goes right ok and then a few minutes later he says Beckie go....go and do your tech. So I did lol

The next morning Luke was up first and sat in his room in the dark. His eyes were as stretched as they could be, peering around in the darkness, the levels of fear within his body were rising. He shone his torch, kept under his pillow at the clock, which helped him very little due to his lack of ability of reading the time. Being 7 this was considered a bit unusual to have not grasped any concept of being able to tell the time, but given the circumstances of the all of the kids, it was always understandable.

Luke scrambled off his bed, grabbed his torch and made for his door, edging closer and closer, each creak of the floor boards scaring him further. Instead of reaching for the light logically, Luke went straight for the door, and using his torch, rapidly guided himself to Sam’s room and promptly jumped on top of Sam, waking him up.

The torch rolled off the bed and crashed to the floor with a loud bang. Sam rubbed his eyes, switched on his bed side lamp and lifted the small lump off of his torso with a slight struggle.

“Lottie? Is that you?“
“No”, came Luke’s small voice, “It’s Luke”

For once who was usually so hyperactive and fairly boisterous, Luke at this moment had a very small and docile voice. Sam pushed himself to a sitting position and scooted along so Luke could climb in under the covers next to him.

Sam checked the clock. It was 5.45. He pulled the covers up high over him and Luke, keeping himself warm from the early morning breeze from his window. Several minutes later, a slim figure in silky pyjamas appeared at the door, a littler figure being held in the arms.

“Sam?”, the taller figure asked
“Yeah?”
“Who’s in here with you?”
“Luke. Who’ve you got with you?”, Sam asked

The figure flicked the light switch and Sam saw Jess standing at the door, Crystal in her arms. Sam smiled, which was followed by a yawn.

“You want me to take them both down?”, Jess asked. Sam didn’t respond, but Luke took it upon himself to climb out of Sam’s bed and took a hold of Jess’ spare hand. Together the three of them carefully climbed down the stairs and sat around the dining room table.

I hope those pyjamas have Jess all covered up because we don't want Sam casting his eyes upon her!

“What are you two like, eh?”, Jess said Crystal on her lap, and Luke on the chair next to her. Crystal had her thumb firmly lodged in her mouth, her long, blonde fringe falling into her eyes. Her spare hand kept brushing it away, but it seemed inevitable that no matter how many times she swept it away, it would fall back just as many times. Bored, and not knowing what to do, Jess began walking around the kitchen with Crystal still in her arms. Luke followed around behind, not wanting to be left alone. Deciding that it was too early to be walking around, Jess entered into the living area and sat down on the sofa, Crystal on one side, Luke on the other. Being careful to keep the volume minimal, Jess turned on the TV, purely for something to do.

It was only when an advert caught her eye that her brain began ticking and her mind began buzzing with ideas . .
