Nancy sat slouched in front of the tv. She felt empty, exhausted and lonely. Ever since the court battle had began she'd had no-one to turn to, no-one apart from the one person she had sworn to hate for the rest of her life, Justin Burton. The funny thing was that she was beginning to be unphased by his prescence, infact she was secretly enjoying. She raised her arms and let out a huge yawn before taking a short glance at her phone. "No, text for Nancy" She sighed as she wiped her eyes, which were still damp from old tears. She slumped down into a laying position, before being disturbed by a knock at the door...

Nancy stood up and relectently headead towards the front door, she swung it open and was suprised to see Justin stood before her. "Hey.. just came to see how you are" He said nervously. She looked up and down at him, Justin actually cared how she was?. "Come in" She mumbled as she stood to one side letting him through. She closed the door behind him and made her way back to the sofa. Justin slowly sat down on the sofa opposite and began to twiddle his thumbs. "Hows Charlie?"He questioned uncomfortably. "I wouldn't know, i can't see him!" She spat back. He looked down at the floor, regretting his last comment as Nancy began to sip from a cup of tea she'd made earlier. "Do you want a drink?" She asked trying to redeem herself from her latest outburst. Justin moved his head back towards the centre rubbed the back of his head. " I'm fine thanks, don't worry " He then began to carry on speaking before he was interrupted "Look are you here because of what happened yesterday" She leaned forward putting him under more pressure. [/B]"erm.. not just that"[/B] he slowly replied. Nancy stood up and began to shout "Look Justin it was a kiss, people kiss all the time, it was an emotional conversation and it got out of hand, let's just forget it ever happened okay? Now go back to Katy, who your life seems to evolve around" She raised her hand and pointed at the door, Justin stood up confused "Nancy.." "Don't Nancy me, just go" She lead him to the door , opened it and pushed him out onto the street, slamming the door behind him. She then headed towards her bedroom and layed on her bed. Justin Burton she sighed You idiot, what have you done to me

The following morning came and Justin was more than tired. He hadn't slept a wink since his conversation with Nancy and was too distracted by the voices in his head. Half of him was saying he loves Katy, the other half was telling him that Nancy and Charlie were more important. He reached out infront of him and picked up his mobile from the table. He rubbed the back of his neck and began to text. Hey, meet me in il gnosh later, we need 2 tlk.. J. xx he scrolled through his phonebook and stopped on Nancy's name. For some reason though he couldn't bring himself to press send. He sighed uncomfortably and slouched down into his chair.

Nancy woke up, her eyes stained from the previous days miscara where she had been crying, for once it wasn't to do with Charlie, It was about Him, Justin Burton. She shooked her head and walked towards the kettle before switching it on and preparing a cup of tea. I feel, rough.. she mumbled and continued with what she was doing. She heard her phone beep and jumped at the sound, hoping a certain someone had text her. Unfortunately it was a text from Jake, The last person she wanted to hear from. Give up Nancy, you don't stand a chance, Everyone's against you, You're a pathetic child, When are you going to grow up? She grunted at the words he'd written and slammed her hand down on the table. Why do things always happen to me She said quietly as tears filled her eyes.

Mid day came and Justin was walking through the village, He stopped outside drive n buy and was agitated to find Jake stood in the door way. Look who it isn't! Jake shouted, his head right infront of Justin's, The words being spat in his face. Jake just leave it..He replied desperatly trying to push past. Nancy walked through the crowd and stopped at the sight infront of her. Justin!She shouted as she became closer. Justin turned around, then back at Jake who was staring directly at Nancy, His sinister glare catching hers exactly. Yeah go on Justinhe said sarcasticly[Go change the babys nappy Nancy charged towards him What the hell did you just say? She snapped. Justin grabbed hold of her shoulder and pulled her back a few spaces. Nancy just leave it, He's not worth it She looked at him and nodded before taking one last look at Jake who was grinning to himself.

Back at Nancys flat, Justin was looking at the photographs on the wall. He stopped still at a picture of Becca on her first day of teaching, He reached his hand out and slid his hand down the glass frame before turning round to find Nancy behind him. Do you miss her? she said gently. Justin looked downwards towards the floor. I don't really have a right to say that, do i? He replied anxiously waiting for a snarl or some look of anger to appear on her face. He was suprised when neither appeared. Look, I know we havn't got along, well really havn't, and you understand why.. But i honestly appreciate everything you're doing for me and Charlie She let off a weak smile to him which he returned gratefully. I said so that other day and i ment it, I want to look after you both He replied. Nancy found herself leaning inwards towards him, She could feel his breath on her lips. Their hearts began to beat faster and faster. Their lips were almost touching before Nancy pulled away. "We can't do this.. I've just came out of a terrible relationship and you have a girlfriend. Justin Nodded. Yeah you're right. Nancy gave him a look of agreement and he turned to walk to the door. He placed his hand on the door handle but refused to push it down. Nancy walked towards him. whats the matter? she questioned. Justin placed his hand on her face. This.. he said as he pulled her into a tight embrace.

wow. n ur sure ur not 1 of d writers? lol. i think justin n nancy wud b so cute together, no matter how unconventional it may seem, but id worry that justin wud keep comparin her to becca, which isnt fair.

Katy sat pushed against the wall. Where was Justin? She'd had this thought going through her head for the last few days. Had he really forgotten about her completely?. She took a deep breath and looked to her left at a picture of her and them in their early days, she startled at a knock on her bedroom door. Katy it's me, you okay in their? It was Zak the one guy she had been getting closer and closer too, He payed more attention to her then Justin did, And deep inside she thought she should be with him. She remained silent as Zak continued to call at her from the other side. After a minute or two she heard him walk away and the front door slam shut. She was alone again.

Nancy opened her eyes. She was sat up, Justin fast asleep on her lap. Nothing had happened between them. They'd just enjoyed eachother's company, Drifted off whilst talking. For some reason she couldn't take her eyes off him. He looks so gorgeous when he's sleeping she thought. She shook her head vigarousley. Why am i thinking like this?, i can't possibly like him can i?. Justin's eyes slowly opened. She'd accidently said the last part out loud. Who are you talking to?He mumbled. [/B]Nancy looked relieved as she realised he hadn't heard what she'd said clearly. Nothing... He released himself from her grasp and sat up straight next to her. I better get back to halls.. Katy will be.. Nancy interrupted Worrying? Justin nodded and left the flat leaving Nancy more confused than ever.

Justin made his way through the hospital corridors. He'd lied to Nancy, told her he was going back to Katy, but in reality had felt there was something else he had to do. He entered the code to Charlies hospital door and made his way inside. He took a seat, and grabbed hold of Charlies left hand. Hey little manHe began. Nancy approached the hospital reception Desk. She was so mad at Justin for leaving her at the flat without any explanation. He made her way down the corridor and was suprised to see Justin in Charlies room. She slighly opened the door leaving Justin unaware of her presence. She listened eagerly to what he was saying. I thought i'd come see you, you see there's alot of things i have to explain to you about. I know you're not old enough to take any of it in but i guess i just need practise for the future. I love you Charlie, I love you so much it scares me..He took a deep breath before continueing. When i was told you wern't mine, i was so gutted which is why i'm finding it so hard to take in now. What scares me though is the fact i don't deserve to love you. Your mum, Becca, was an amazing women and because of me you're never going to be able to see that for yourself. I promise you though your auntie Nancy will tell you everyday He wiped fresh tears from his eyes and Nancy became even more intent. Another thing you need to know is that your Auntie Nancy is an amazing girl, She's been through so much and i can only hope she'll always hate me for it, because that's all i deserve, TO BE HATED He became frustrated with himself. This may sound crazy but i think i'm falling for her, which is another reason why i think as soon as she gets custody of you, i'm going to have to let you go. I don't want to hurt you and her anymore
. Nancy walked over to him, knelt down and put her arm around his shoulder. He looked stunned to find she'd heard everything. I don't want you to let him go, or me She stared deeply into his eyes before connecting her lips with his. He pulled back for a second in disbelief before kissing her back gently.
