This is my new ficc up. I was getting a bit bored with my other story lines so I have decided to write this one, but I will keep updating them all xx

Jess's Pov...

My parents keep giving me a hard time, telling me off for staying out past midnight and not calling them at every chance I get. So what? I am 15 years old, a straight A student and I just want to have a little fun with my friends. What's worse is we have the most anoying neighbours in the world, who just so happen to be best friends with my parents. They have 3 children, they all bug me so much. One of them is a right goody two shoes and never gets in anytrouble, her name is Jenny. The other girl isn't much bother...yet. She is only 7 and just seems like a cute wee girl, her name is Brooke. But I've saved the worst for last, Kris. Erg... he is the most anoying boy I've ever met in my life, he dresses in womens clothes and wears more make up than me and my friends put together. I have no time for any of them. All I care about is my friends and my boyfriend...Dan, he is amazing. But ofcorse the parents don't like him, they don't like any guys I bring home.

"Jessica, we really need to talk about last night." My father said as I sat opposite him at the table for breakfast.
"Dad there is nothing to talk about! I was out with Dan untill quarter past twelve." I moaned.
"But you know your ment to be home by twelve." He said.
"Sorry I was fifteen minuites late...kill me!" I said sarcastically.
"Jessica!" He said in his deep 'I mean what I'm saying' voice.
"Ok daddy. It wont happen again." I said smiling at him sweetly.
"Good because your babysitting for Brooke tonight." He said.
"What? I am ment to be going to a party with Dan." I said angrily.
"No your not. I already said to Fiona." He said.
"Why can't Kris do it? Or that Jenny?" I asked.
"Jenny is going to er...a party and Kris is going to the cinema, Fiona mentioned he wanted to see er... I don't know but some chick flick." He said.
"Dad... I want to go to that party." I moaned.
"No more moaning Jessica, go study." He said before summoning me to my room.

Jess's Pov....

I sat in the Fisher's house watching t.v whilst little Brooke was asleep upstairs, god I hated babysitting it was so so boring. Dan wasn't answering my calls or my txts, he probably couldn't hear his phone at the party. I heard the door open and turned around hoping it would be Fiona and Jack(the parents) so I could leave and go to the party. But no... of all people, it was Kris.

"Hi Jess." He said smiling at me.
"Hi.." I said bluntly.
"So how is the babysitting going?" He asked sitting beside me.
"All the better now I can leave," I said before getting my coat and bag.
"You can't leave. I'm going back out to that party that er... Sophie is having at her house." He said.
"How did you get invited to that?" I asked.
"Because I did. And unlike you I am alloud to go." He said laughing to himself.
"I can go." I said.
"Oh can you? Because I thought you were babysitting." Kris said finding himself really funny.
"Who cares. I'm going." I said before walking to the door, Kris's parents were there anyway.
"Hello Jessica, has everything been alright?" Fiona asked.
"Fine yeh. I was just about to head home and leave Kris in charge." I said smiling at them.
"Oh right, well Kris you can head off to that party now." She said to him.
"Bye." I said trying to be sweet.

I left the house and made my way to Sophie's. It wasn't far away, only a couple of streets away from mine. It was only ten thirty and so I still had an hour and a half untill I had to be home. I felt someone tap my shoulder as I walked.

"Hey you walk fast." Kris said.
"Kris, I'm not walking into this party with you." I said to him, I wasn't going to be seen with some geek like him.
"I didn't ask you to. I know that would hurt your reputation." He said.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be nasty.
"It's alright, everyone is like that towards me. I don't mind, the only downside is it can be pretty lonley sometimes." He said looking at the floor.
"I tell you what. You ever need to speek to someone and I guess you can speek to me, but aslong as no one knows. Deal?" I asked as I stopped walking and but my hand out to shake his.
"Deal." He said shaking my hand and smiling.

We walked up to the house and the party was in full swing, loud music, people outside running about like crazy. My group of friends were outside smoking, I didn't smoke but I had to put up with the discusting smell.

"Jessica, why are you here with that?" Kelly asked laughing.
"Where do you buy your clothes Kris?" Laura asked him.
"I dunno..." He said looking at the floor.
"Speek up. We can't hear you!" Laura laughed.
"Wherever alright." He said.
"Nah, we need a specific name. I want to look just like you." Kelly laughed making the rest of the girls snigger.

I looked at Kris, I can't belive after all this time I had completely taken him for an anoying person when really it was just a block from all these comments. He was hurting and even I could see that.

"Go on Kris... Is it Gap? River Island? Topshop...not Topman." Kelly laughed.
"Stop it!" I shouted.
"What?" Laura asked.
"Stop it. Ok so he has his own idea of what fashion is to guys, everyone has the right to there own oppionions but keep yours to yourself." I said to her.
"Sorry Jess. Didn't know you cared so much."Kelly laughed.
"Whatever, where is Dan?" I asked.
"Oh erm.." Laura said.
"Where is Samantha? I've not seen her yet." I said.
"I dunno, go inside and take a look. Oh I think I saw Dan in the games room like 5 minuites ago." Kelly said.
"Thanks. I'll see you here in like an hour to walk home ok Kris?" I asked him.
"Yeh. Oh and thanks." He said smiling at me.
"Don't mention it." I said smiling back at him.

I walked towards the game room. Everyone was looking at me like some sort of an idiot. I opened the door to see my suposed best friend Samantha kissing Dan. I screamed and felt tears run to my eyes. They shouted after me, but I egnored them, I just didn't want to talk to either of them. I ran straight past all the girls who were giggling, they basically set me up, I hated them.

"Jessica." Kris shouted running after me.

I stopped when I had gotten a street away from the house and tryed to catch my breath. Kris came and put his jumped over my shoulders.

"He isn't worth your tears and neither is she." He said as he hugged me.
"I know, but it still hurts." I cryed.
"Common Jess, we made a pact tonight, that you would talk to me when I needed you and I want to add something on to it." Kris said smiling at me.
"What?" I asked wipping my eyes.
"You ditch those horrible girls, they were never your real friends anway. Dump that horrible guy and get back on your dads goodside. Lay low for the moment. And I will always be there to talk to you." He said.
"Ok. Thanks Kris, you know your not as bad as I thought." I said to him.
"Thanks... I guess." He laughed.

We walked home together, he made me laugh and smile and forgett about everything that had just happened. He had a calming but yet an energtic affect on me, something which no one had ever had on me. He was nice, and I was pretty sure he was the only friend I was going to need.

This is pretty good.
It's a bit of a wierd idea though.
I think i prefer them at Uni, but i'll still read this! xD

Kris's Pov...

Jess was my best friend. Strange how someone like me could get along so well with such a stuck up cow like Jess, but we did. She was stunning, she really was. I don't think I could ever try anything on, it would make things weird and she would never talk to me again. She was coming over to help me babysit Brooke, well really just to keep me company.

"Hey." She said as she walked into the living room.
"Hey, how are you?" I asked.
"Good, guess what I got?" She said smiling at me cheekily.
"What?" I asked.
"Some alcohol!" She said excitedly.
"Jess...alcohol? Really?" I laughed.
"Yeh, I think we can drink and have fun. I'm 16 in a week and your already 17!" She giggled.
"Alright, I will go get some cups." I said before getting up and getting some glasses.

A few shots later as the night went on Jess and I were getting more and more drunk. I felt myself getting very touchy with her, hugging her alot and wanting to kiss her everytime she looked at me.

"Kris, whats your biggest secret?" She asked smiling at me.
"I couldn't tell you." I said.
"Yes you can tell me anything." She said.
"Not this." I said.
"I will tell you mine. I have the biggest crush on someone." She said moving only inches away from my face, if I didn't kiss her now I never would.

I kissed her on the lips. It was long and passionate, my stomach filled with butterflies and I began to feel a strange feeling which I had never felt before. We broke apart and she smiled at me.

"Did you feel that?" Jess asked me.
"What?" I asked trying to play it cool.
"That feeling? Like an electric shock all the way down your body?" She whispered.
"Yes. Why are you whispering?" I asked.
"I don't know. Just kiss me again." She said smiling at me.

I did as I was told, after all it would be rude not to. I couldn't belive I was kissing Jessica Harris, the spoilt girl next door. I never dreamed this would happen, and she probably hadn't either.

Jess's Pov..

I hated school so much. Samantha, Kelly and Laura were trying to make my life hell. I was over Dan completly, he was discusting, everytime I looked at him I felt discusted. I don't think anyone realises that for the first time in my life I was truley happy. I wasn't pretending to be something I'm not, I wasn't trying to fit in. It was just me and Kris, no secrets, no lies, we knew everything about each other...well there is one thing I wish I knew...weather he really liked me, you can never tell with Kris.

"Hey dude." I said as I sat beside Kris in the school canteen.
"Hey, whats up?" He asked me.
"Oh not alot, just Samantha's dangling all over Dan, but I couldn't care less." I said before taking a bite of my apple.
"You do care.." He said.
"No I don't." I said, because I really didn't want Dan anymore.
"Well why did you bring it up?" He snapped.
"I was just saying, calm down." I said angrily.

We sat in silence for the rest of lunch, Kelly walked past and made a sly comment.

"Fallen out with lover boy?" She asked laughing.
"She's not my girlfriend." Kris said defensivly.
"Oh, firstly Dan turns you down and now Kris, wow you really are what people say you are....a peice of dirt.." She said evily.

I felt tears run to my eyes and did what I was best at doing, I ran. Straight out of School and straight home, no stopping to catch my breath. How could Kris be so mean?? He was ment to stick up for me when I needed him, he was ment to be the only one I wanted to be with but at the moment, I didn't want to be near him. I heard a bang come from my window, I shot up out of my bed and looked outside, Kris was standing there looking up at me. I opened the window.

"Kris go away." I said to him.
"No Jess, I should have stood up for you. I know that. I'm sorry." He said.
"Yeh, and so you should be." I said wiping my tears away.
"Can I come in?" He aksed.
"The doors always open, you should have tried that before almost breaking my window with a rock." I said laughing.

Jess's Pov...

My Dad knew what a hard time I was getting at school, he saw me cry over those evil girls, he heard me bad mouth them to Kris and even witnessed them taunting me whilst I waited to be picked up at the school gates. Although I hated school, I was in all Kris's classes and he always managed to cheer me up. My dad would always ask me about school but I just egnored him.

"Jess.." My dad said knocking on my door.
"Yeh?"I asked.
"I have something to show you." He said walking into my room and sitting on the edge of my bed.
"What is it?" I asked sitting beside him.
"This is the best boarding school in the country." He said showing me a booklet.
"I don't want to move school dad." I said to him.
"Yes yes I know. But this is a dancing school in London and it has the best results of the country." He said trying to pursuade me.
"No! I want to stay here with my friends." I snapped.
"Friends?" He said, that was a bit harsh.
"Well Kris." I said angrily.
"Ok ok, I won't force you. I just want you to be happy." He said before getting up.
"I am happy with Kris..." I said.
"You don't know if your friendship with Kris will last, sometimes people drift apart and then you would miss out on a great chance." He said.
"Dad, please leave me alone." I snapped.
"Get changed for your birthday dinner please." He said to me.

I was still wearing my pyjamas, I had been in them for the last 2 days. I had completely ditched my fashionable look. I had forgotten it was my 16th birthday tomorrow, usually I would be having a big party with all my friends. Not this year. I put on a pink dress that didn't have straps and was pretty short and then put on some high heels. I put on some make up and brushed my long hair untill it looked presentable. I went downstairs to the dining room where The Fishers and my parents were sitting. I sat next to Kris and smiled at him.

"Jessica you look beautiful." Fiona said to me.
"Thanks." I said before taking a sip of my drink.
"Well are you excited about your birthday?" Fiona asked me.
"No not really. I'm not doing anything." I said almost laughing at how pathetic my life was.
"Well Jessica is excited because we are going to view her new school tomorrow." My dad said.
"Your moving?" Kris asked me.
"No I am not! Dad I'm not going to London to see some dance school." I snapped.
"But your such a good dancer, your the best in your classes," He said.
"It would be really good for you." Kris said, what was he on about, he was ment to want me to stay!
"Really?" I asked looking at him and feeling hurt.
"Yep, loadza new friends, you could forgett about everyone here." He said nastily.
"Well suddenly I'm not hungry. But do enjoy the meal for me will you all?" I said before getting up and storming right up to my room.
