No Live feed because of 'interesting new website features' ?

Sorry but Live feed is part of Big Brother.

You should have catered for all.
Not everyone has Sky or Virgin.
What happened to the new feature 'online voting' link that was removed with the first nominations.

The 'new website features' are no different to the old features.

The adverts in the video - some quite long - just to see a 20sec clip. I don't bother with the clips.

The headlines are minimal - if this is part of the 'New Features' then may I suggest you look at it again - because your enticing people with a headline yet no accompanying story.

Worse for those who don't have 24/7 live feed - even if it's cut to shreds. (And after 3 years I refuse don't buy into the legal stuff).

E4's scheduling has been dire - hardly any Live Feed during the day - and 6 hrs or so at night. When they are all in bed.

A 'remember me' function for people with accounts would be nice - everytime I go there I have to log on.

The news section is now TERRIBLE. I absolutely prefer the OLD style one - (two years ago was even better than last year's). It had concise titles with relevant and newsworthy stories if you clicked the links, and less flashy advertising. I hardly bother to read it now and I used to be addicted.

I've stopped bothering to watch any of the video links because of all the advertising on them.

Even on high-speed broadband, I find it terribly difficult at times getting into the forums; they still freeze up badly.

I had actually thought that the news page was a quickly hashed-together something while a couple of techy bods were sorting out the real one.

1. Don't need individual hms' forums. Everybody discusses them on general forum anyway.
2. Need somewhere more obvious to discuss BBLB and BBBM.
3. News feed pages are terrible.
4. General layout too complex to bother with.
5. "Internal errors" should be dealt with.
6. Forum sometimes too slow. Major communications company with a popular forum and can't sort out forum speed? Ridiculous.

Re the forums sections...it would be nice of the forum admin would have a Q and A and ansswer queries as quickly and frankly as The Real BB did (even tho that sticky has gone leaving loads of out of date ones behind)

Can you get rid of some old stickies please?

Much preferred the old style BB page with links for all the news.

I would like a wider and more varied choice of Smiley's, Colours and text to choose from.

*Keeps fingers crossed that someone, someday will take notice of me.

* Prays also for a Flower Smiley.

The only fault I can pick with the websites is omission of some of the old features on the main BB website - like the gallery - and the news updates, most of which are only one-liners.

I do think the design of the main BB site is fantastic though. Possibly the best ever.

I don't think there's anything wrong with e4.com/bigbrother - in my opinion, you've got that spot on.

I would like to see a web site that actually functions. The internal server error is a joke - as are the excuses given by the moderators as it being due to 'high traffic'.

Internal Server Error has completely spoilt my ability to join in with topics this series.
Whole days have gone by when I couldn't post once.

Internal Server Error kind of sums it up!

I generally don't use the Channel 4 BB website, I've found that the DigitalSpy Big Brother website much more user friendly and it gives you regular updates on things you want to read. I do however like the exclusives that are revealed on the Channel 4 website.

To me, the Channel 4 website looks the same every year. It's just a new theme. I think each year there should be a completely new design and layout to keep things fresh. I don't think the BB website team will have much control over this as this is a general Channel 4 website thing but why does everything have to be squashed onto one side? Other websites function fine without needing a huge blank space for adverts. The adverts could just go over the website's design rather than having that ugly grey space.

I think there needs to be more to do on the websites. More polls, voting and more control over what happens on the show. Quizzes and games wouldn't go a miss either.

I know I'm critising the current one a lot and to be honest, it's an alright website. It just feels like it's the same every year and there's not much you can do. Perhaps a webcam thats updated every 5 minutes offered for free would get people to visit the site to see what's going on in the house without having to pay for the live feed. Just a basic image would do.

The Internal Server Error will be the death of this forum. I've noticed a lot of names drifting away - surely it could have been righted by now?

Added to that the midnight closing isn't popular. It was only last night I realised that there was a January amnesty and it is open until 2am ....................there were several hundred people logged on .....................doesn't that tell you something?

The thing is I dont even think half the FM's know about it and it was still busy/lively.

I certainly don't like the ads on the right hand side offering free pc scans, they are so invasive they keep throwing themselves at me whenever I try to move around the Forum, which is why I don't visit here like I used to.

The Internal Server Error is a nuisance ~
have lost lots of posts after spending time writing them out~then back button does not retrieve them ~grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
