The eternal server error has been beyond a joke these last few weeks. Every time BB is on there is a problem with accessing the site let alone posting.

Most of the time I have been unable to open the forum and, if I was lucky enough to be able to open the site, I was mainly unable to reply using quotes. I worked around that by writing the post and then copying it before clicking on 'send'. When the error sign appeared, I closed that box, opened the quick reply box and pasted my post in there. It then reached the stage when I couldn't even open the quick reply box.

So, the site continually crashing and being unable to post has been incredibly infuriating and I have read that many FMs have been e-mailing you to let you know of the problems experienced here. Still the problems continued - just the same as they did during last years BB and CBB too. And the year before last etc etc

It is an ongoing problem and I cannot understand why it hasn't been addressed. Surely if it is due to the servers being unable to cope with the traffic then alternatives need to be considered.

As this is the official BB forum I would have thought that C4 would ensure that their servers are working adequately for fans to be able to post. It is not just this forum which is affected though, it affects the whole of the community and it seems a bit of a shoddy way to treat us, tbh.

Having calmed down after my moan this morning, I would like to say that I appreciate the presence of BB Team, C4Ed, and Paula over the last few weeks (though I do wonder if they had any problems posting on here ) and involving us, the BB fans in the show. This has been a gripe on here for some time, that Endemol don't listen to us, so it was good to see that we were listened to on that and hopefully, some of our suggestions will be taken on board for BB9

Why can you not sort out the error problems? There are fewer and fewer people accessing the forums due to the continual error messages which isn't at all surprising!!

Pretty soon there won't be anyone left at all.

Hardly anyone can start new threads so there isn't much to reply to now either!!

I agree 100% with Hyacinth. You never even give us a sensible explantion either! Surely, in this modern age, this problem could be fixed for good? How about buying a new server with all the profits you make from BB? It is beyond a joke now.

most of the time because I get the dreaded internal server error and it happens more often than not and has put me off the forum and spoiled the BBCH experience.I would have thought that you would have the recources to remedy the situation.I really hope you do in time for BB this summer.The forum will just disappear if the problem continues.

aaaaaaaaaaarrrgg this crazy Internal Error problem. You have a reply typed out then when you post it just disappears.

Can you pleaseee tell us WHAT IS SO DIFFICULT ABOUT THIS PROBLEM, THAT YOUR ENGINEERS CANNOT FIX IT AFTER 4 WEEKS.

I can at long last use the Standard reply box
Using the quick reply box meant that we could not choose whether or not to have our sig displayed
and we did not even have
~the few seconds~ to Edit our posts

I had Mentioned earlier in this thread~
that we should be allowed~ a bit longer ~
to edit our posts

The GREAT THING now that I can use the standard reply box is

The numbers on this forum have rapidly fallen since this ruddy Infernal Service Error ............................I'm on here tonight and wanting to reply to some of the posts but can only do so using Quick Reply.

Surely to God - it's gone on for far too long and there really is no good excuse ................... at the moment 52 people online!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's hardly a record number is it?

Can't believe the server error is still happening. I quote someone earlier who said there are no technical people worth their salt who couldn't have fixed it by now. Can you explain exactly why it can't be fixed?

Have finally managed to access site after two hours

Seeing as there are only 14 online atm, I guess I'm not the only one having problems.

Would be nice if we had some feedback from C4 Ed to let us know if the problems are being addressed.

Back on quick reply this morning and the forum has only crashed on me once so far

I am beginning to remember the server error notice word for word as I see it so often :rolls eyes:

I have found that the BB General forum
is like a ghost town ~with all these weeks of Internal Server errors

Having so few posters and very few new threads
to read and reply on
~has really affected things here badly
