Erm, trying to think what questions were asked....
It was basically scrap the fame hungry PR girls and go back to basics with a good couple of twists.

Are you seriously telling me that you deleted the very long list (a - m) that I took an age posting here yesterday? it was the last one you replied to saying you had read it and would get back to me today. Or are you meaning remond88' post, which was also long but much more original in his suggestions for changes?

I don't want to write mine all again unnecesarily Frown

Ziggy had me tearing my hair out last summer, threatening to walk every time something happened that he didn't like.

Also: Apply the rules consistently, and STOP bending them to keep in your favourites!

this is the third time I've tried posting aso maybe they'll all appear at once. But anyway - all hamsters back on track. Sorry to those who posted big long thoughts or threads and didn't get a reply before I disappeared but am here now. It's a busy day with the double eviction tonight but we've been through the questions for the four prospective interviewees/evictees. Dermot now rehearsing BBLB (busy boy). Scott Mills Hijacked the house this morning - he got the housemates to do a secret task to annoy Jay. It worked. And it was funny. Have to say alos that all the celebrities who've some down to do this have absolutely loved it. Loads of them have said they've had the time of their life. Perhaps it's the power trip? Moo-ha-ha-ha. And hilarously I have just had an email offerning us a cow for BB9. What do we think guys?

I agree about being consistent with rules - they should be clear and adhered to.

10 to 12 HM no evictions for 2 weeks then everyone up to "Cull the dull" (i love that phrase) with a vote to save

live tasks

saturday night highlights show

over 18 per per view live streaming, with less censorship "tweets" and NO adverts (they can do it for the adult channels so why not BB ?)

Multiscreens !!!!

24 hour forum (i'm a night owl)

no wannabees etc

HM to earn the prize fund, also have smaller prize money for 2nd and 3rd place, it might make some of the HM try harder (the ones that doubt they will win but could come 2nd or third)

never anymore "caroles"

dont give them alcohol every night, let them earn it a couple of nights a week, then give them enough to at least get tipsy, 1 glass of wine doesn't do much for anyone) and its funny to watch (BB3 Kate)

supply toilet roll, cleaning, grooming products and cigs or at least patches

if your going to have a shopping list please give them a bloody calculator

get us more involved with BB with more polls to decide things on a weekly basis perhaps, and compititions to invent new tasks etc

got lots more will post as i think of them

Am very very sorry. I did read your post yesterday but I am afraid I also read loads of other long posts too and I may have mixed them all up in my head.
If you want to say stuff again is there a way of doing it with bullet points to jog my memory?

just a thought. why not make the bb house more of a home rather than a studio set. Would the housemates be more natural in this environment. might they be less inclined to think before they speak and forget more that the camera was there. it would then be more like watching a real houseshare.

Lots of good thoughts here.
One thing that lots of people are talking about is getting rid of the wannabe.
I am curious to know what people make of this - in some respects anyone who wants to be on TV in any capicity has a bit of wannabe in them. Even the housemates in BB1 were wannabes to some degree - they may not have been fully aware of what Big Brother was or would become but they still wanted to be on TV.
It's maybe more about drawing the line at the glamour model type. Though, again, female wannabes seem to be more harshly judged than their male equivalents....

on second thoughts scrap the weekly basis, how about on a daily basis (we like the power) polls can cover a lot of thing so shouldn't be hard to do on a daily basis

Broadly, yes. And be stricter and more consistent about punishing nomination discussions.

As a general point, I think the "stricter and more consistent" point applies to BB rules as a whole. I'm sure it's a lot of fun for the Production Team to dream up different "punishments", but it just feeds idle speculation on the forum that it's all fixed. E.g. when Jayne continually broke the rules in BB7, but the rest of the house got punished instead.
