Did anyone see this BBC2 Sunday 11th. Sorry I know it's not a C4 production but hey BBC forums suck.
I'm a bit of a docu junky at times. The recent one about having a dinosaur as a pet if the meteor hadn't hit was risibile. I turned off. So many docus seem increasingly dumbed down, or maybe I'm getting more critical. I don't know, but The Trap was enthralling and chilling, but I sense hope in the next installment.

I've noticed this as well and the same thing is happening to the news on TV. For some reason apparently no-one can understand whats going on without lots of pretty pictures...

yes - interesting and enjoyable.
i liked the exposure of the paranoid assumptions underlying game theory, and the evidence that this wasn't how people actually acted towards each other when Rand ran their experiments (The 'F*** You buddy' experiment)
yet somehow this became the philosophy under pinning everything from markets to socio-cultural organisation models.
i guess the problem was the old meritocracies had become cumbersome and complacent (the psychiatic admission experiment being a prime example) so it was easy for those forms of organisation to be torn down by people with an agenda of their own....
